Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week when it comes to housework, or just the motivation to do the dreaded housework tasks you have to do, come and join us, hopefully make it a little easier. You never know, you might start to enjoy it!
Following requests to start things steadier for new members who did not realise the tasks list wasn’t a must do, just an encouragement. There will now be level 1, 2 and 3. Level 1 being very basic it has been requested that this is just one task per day, level 2 in the middle, up to 3 which is more advanced and time consuming. If you want to do level 2 you add the tasks on level 1 with the level 2 tasks, if you want to do level 3 you add the tasks on, easy peasy. Choose a level to aim for but be realistic, if you’ve got a busy day on or are just starting etc aim for level one, if you get higher then great, if not then not to worry its only suggestions. Every room comes back around next week. Trust me some days I'll only be doing level one myself.
THESE LISTS ARE ONLY SUGGESTIONS AND NOT A MUST DO LIST, ALWAYS WELCOME TO POST AND FOLLOW YOUR OWN.
Also adding a declutter mission each day. Another one where it’s up to you if you want to do it or if you need to. This follows requests from members who are looking to declutter. Fling boogies, hotspot clearing, cupboard sorts, drawer sorts etc will all be on this list. Any problems with this of any suggestions do please let me know.

A few of the basics before we start the week
Hotspots are any areas which if one thing gets put there loads of other things follow!
Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc
Nighttime routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.
27 Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a binbag and whizz around the house finding 27 items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.

Hi,
Well I am ready to start this week, I'm so hoping you lot will rid me of my slutish ways and get my house in order! I work full time so I'm not sure what level I will manage most days, Tuesdays may be hard because strraight from work I take my daughter to singing lessons then it's my night in the pub for the quiz!! Who knows maybe I will get up early on Tuesdays to accomplish at least level one.
Also starting the grocery challenge this week... ooh I'm going to be a new woman...how exciting.0 -
Hello again everyone. I'm back after being off line for almost 2 weeks.
I have been keeping up with the flying though!:D I've been doing the days in order of lil-me's lists and house still doing well! But i've been missing the words of encouragement and friendly chatter on here.
Kids off school this week so it'll be a bit harder to keep up but i'm gonna do it!Nothing to declare

Please can I come back?!
I thought I could do this on my own - and I can't - it is so very sad, but so very true that I have gone into melt-down since I decided that now I was on top of the housework, I could just do my own thing and save time by not peeking on-line... My budget went haywire, the house is a tip, even the car has had 3 new bumps and scrapes this week - and I've put on the weight I lost when I started flying.
So - my body is a temple, my home will be a haven and my purse is impregnable. I can't confront my signature yet - I'll pluck up the strength to do that tomorrow... one step at a time!! Oh, and my reversing skills will just have to do until I don't have two shrieking boys and Paddington Bear on the CD to cope with...Is it home time yet?0 -
Evening everyone.
I'm a drunkard. We snuck off to the pub after the spa day so we didn't have to spend £15 on a sandwich, and instead, i have been drinking champagne, and avoided doing anything in the house, and the only thing i have done with Charlie today is change him and get him dressed this morning. DH was feeling a bit neglected, but i think an early night, and then an early start tomorrow.
I'm feelingungover already, so god help me tomorrow, and i will try to forget the 2 bottles of moet i swiped on my card at the pub. I am a good sister!!
Anyway, be back with you all tomorrow although don't xpect me to be too bright!

Kids off here too, if it's nice we're off to the quad track tomorrow from about 10am so will have to get up early and get it done while making lunches. Might get a head start and put the oven racks in the bath tonight with some washing powder to soak. One day I might be more organised...........

Morning Michelle!
How is the head - and the nasty post-Champagne taste? I can't drink anymore, but still remember the mornings after - so you have my sympathy (coupled, I'm afraid with a tiny wry smug grin: I've got to find my naughty pleasures where I can!!).
If you are feeling dodgy, I'd avoid the oven and the washing machine drawer... try and get some washing hung out, that should blow some cobwebs away!!Is it home time yet?0 -

Unfortunately it isn't just the reversing - I seem to have a rather big problem with overall spatial awareness: particularly on the passenger side of the car - I've only had the machine for 3 months and already there is a huge chunk out of the bottom sill (church pillar), scrape on passenger door (friend's stone gate-post), bright yellow paint the full length of passenger side (soft play centre pillar) and a dent (that DH hasn't seen yet!) in the back bumper (friend's wheelbarrow). I never had this problem with the 4x4....Is it home time yet?0 -
morning all, just had a quick glance
michelle - hope your head is ok!!
happy_at_home - i too cannot do this alone!! i have been semi absent for a few weeks and things are piling up again so will attempt to post here and on dfw
i wish i was wonder woman/superwoman any woman that could get everything done!!!
I'm not sure how much of this i will get done today though as i am determind to get an essay done - i have faffed around with it for a few weeks not really doing anything but i have a tutorial on saturday and could hand it in - i want to get it to my tutor by tomorrow for a quick once over and then i hope to take it with me on sat - soooo will dedicate much of today to it as dh is off - he is off all week for half term so we have some things planned so i don't feel as though missing out on today
catch you all later0
