Potterton Boiler Locking Out/Rads Not Getting Hot

 Nearly ready to sign up this but a couple of questions, if anyone is able to help please - is it better to go for 200 than 100 policy?
 Also when they come out for inspection do you have to wait in all day and do they do weekend visits?
 When they do come over, I've read in the cheapest boiler cover thread that the they don't do a full proper service but an inspection check - is this policy worth the money you are paying?

 the 100 only covers the boiler , 200 covers all the pipework and rads,
 i have homecare 200 ,and remember i could mend it myself .X British Gas engineer and X BG sales adviser.

 I signed up in Jan....took about 2 weeks to get paper work, but i phoned them after a few days and they said i was still covered. Had a annual checkup/inspection last week. BG chap spent about 1hr testing boiler etc, then he checked mains gas and all radiators.Thank you, have found that now! Wasn't looking under exclusive deals section :A

            Summer, the eng will call 15mins b4. When you call to take the homecare they ask you if it's in good working order. If you are signing up online, it takes up to 5 days for the cntract to be processed. If you do it over the phone it's immediate.  i did my online then phoned them after a few days as we received no letter in post, but they stated we covered from as soon we sign up.0
