  • Tia, have you tried giving her more time at the breast rather than offering ebm?

Shame that top didn't suit feely... Shame we're so skint this month too if it's half price... I'd of wondered down to see if it suits me ;)

I'm sure you looked lovely hun, and I'm glad you're brother had a nice time... I went to my brothers wedding in March, I felt a mess and couldn't sit comfortably on the rotten wooden chairs (being 7 months pregnant) so I had a crap day but he really enjoyed himself and seeing that made it slightly easier to bear...

Mom's bought the fisherprice Zebra round this morning... Is it just me that makes sure toys I flog on eBay are clean?! Glad I only paid £16 for it, I'd of been a bit narked to pay more... Still... It works and nothing a milton wipe won't cure...

Anyway, off to take little pickle up for a feed... She was extremely well behaved in chuirch and let me stay for the whole service but a bit restless now...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Morning all,

Sorry I rudely sloped off to bed lastnight without saying goodnight!

Little one decided that as she went to bed 2 hrs earlier than usual (ie 7:30pm), morning must also be 2 hours earlier than usual (ie 4:30am). I eventually put her in bed with us but she sees this as a free licence to feed, feed and feed some more. Which is what she did until 6:30am, so i'm glad those extra 2 hours werent wasted then!!

I can't believe my little girl is wearing her 3-6 months clothes already as she's too long for all her other clothes. They are a little baggy round the middle though! (she's 25th centile for weight and 75th centile for height)!

Going to go put my face on ready for the day xxxxxxxxx

    Hi all

Elle & Sugar *hugs* seams we all feel the same xx

MM - I'm sure Chris doesn't care what your tum looks like! Men never notice these things unless we point them out :) and I bet its nowhere near as bad as it looks to you IYKWIM

Sugar - does ur OH know how much you're up in the night? I'd be tempted to wake him up everytime I'm up and keep him up until I'm allowed to go to sleep too - she how chipper he is the next day then! :p

Krystal - Thanks for that halfprice lactavist link - I've ordered Ed the top with a cow on it :DI'd like to get more pro BF stuff but I think some of the lactavist stuff is a bit confontational if that makes sense? I like stuff that promotes BFing without possibly upsetting FF mums. (coz I was/am one :p)

Bruno could you maybe 'sell' your mum coming round to OH by saying ur mum can help and support her with it?

I'm so proud of Christoph right now! He's started to taste 'new' food with no cagouling, he tastes it before judging on looks :T and he's catching on to my new rule that he has to put the last toy away before getting a new one out :D AND he asked to and then did a wee on the toilet yesterday!:T *beam*

Quoting all of it cos I agree with all of it! :p

Hurrah for Chris :D I still have a rule of "looks like it tastes funny" so there are a lot of foods I don't eat now because of the habits I got into when I was little. Don't want to deny Rhys of them so I'll try them all again when I try him on them and see what I think now I'm a big girl ;)

Bruno, would your OH agree to your mum taking Elijah for a few hours so she's still getting a break from him for a while. Then he can nap in the buggy whilst with your mum or stay awake, up to him :)

Elle, do you have a nice nursing bra? One of the things that keep popping into my head is dripping milk during the you know what, so I got some pretty nursing bras that I can wear (even though wearing a bra during is so sex and the city!). You'll get there.

I have a couple but I didn't bother getting many cos I wasn't truly breastfeeding. Might have to look for a few more.. I usually wear vest top and shorts type combo to bed anyway so could just keep my nursing vest on, I guess.. :o I have just thrown out two drawers full of nice pants that had probably seen better days and the ones I kept are not the size I am now - they're all 34C/D and I'm wearing a 36DD now but thought I'd keep them for once I stop feeding if I go down again.:o

weezl, you lurking too?? how are you these days hun? hope you are a lot better than last week. we were all worried about you :)

sorry I missed this before! I wasn't ignoring you, I'd just missed out a chunk in my catching up :) Thanks loads for all worrying about me. I very much like having a community here in all of you :A. Errrm, I feel a bit better, but I think it's the kinda thing that takes a while to fix, but I'm on the case :)

Weezl - get fergie to the docs and sod the 7day rule! you and fergie are far more impotant than a bit of nhs money! you can save their money later :)
tips for constipation, a teaspoon of sugar dizolved in 1oz water can act as a stool softener (but I didn't tell you that in case his teeth rot :p)
you can also give him 1 or 2 teaspoons of pure fresh OJ to make him go.
If I were you I'd stop giving him any food other than fruit until he's cleared out but ask GP/HV about that. also onion or cabbage water has been recommended to me.
    keep up the prunes.

don't let them fob you off, you don't want fergie ending up with bowl problems in the future so make sure they help you get him sorted.

Big Hugs to you xxxxx you ARE doing a good job!

I'm not supposed to be here! I'll be in trouble for being late to lunch but I'm still feeding Ed who's in his PJs, I'm not dressed, got wet hair and Chris is running round in his nappy. I feel like crying coz I don't want to go :o

thanks Sami! He's been on the sugar water since we discovered the bleeding and we'll try the other things definately. Thanks everyone for sending hugs to poor bleedy-bum fergie ;)

    xxx

Bruno, could you not just take Elijah round to your Mum's for a visit while oh writes? That way your Mum gets to see him, your oh gets a break and you get... To do all the running around :p

I surely could! But that would be a weekend-only thing which is non-ideal for everyone involved. Could happen occasionally maybe. Elle, I am trying to lure OH into letting mum do some longer walks/etc, we shall see.

Our troublesome baby, who has been fighting day-time naps, not going down for more than an hour tops and generally driving OH right up the wall, went down without a whimper today and has so far... been asleep for 2h20... currently torn between waking him in 10 mins so we can still go to the swimming session, or accepting that if he needs the sleep I should let him have it! the little tyke!
