Amazon selling..... how was your day today?

This thread has come about because our usual Amazon thread 'selling your stuff .....' had real gems of advice that were hard to find amongst the day to day posts about how Amazon life was treating us, we share all our highs and lows and hearing about a great sale will give us all a boost and if there are any disasters then sharing them helps too.

So we now have this thread for chat and support and the original thread for tips, questions and answers. The BGs have said that we can give the 2 threads a try so if we can keep them both for their purpose then we should be ok to carry on.

It was boot sale day for me here, I picked up an armful that I had a hunch were OK and found one was selling for £15 and another seems to be OK at £25 so I'm pleased with the haul. I sold 5 over the weekend so I'm very happy all round.

I went carbooting today too !!

I bought 2x for £1 which have listed for £3.00 each and I bought 10 for £1 which have all listed fr about £15.00.

Not sold anything for a couple of days though

(moan, moan)

5 over the weekend is good - well done AT !!

Sold 9 over weekend including 2 to the states on a hunch - got them in a box from ebay which I paid a tenner for so have doubled my money already. Bidding for 200+ at the mo hope to win that tomorrow. All in all a good weekend.:beer:

Been away for a few days so reactivated my amazon books tonight. A few have nose-dived in price due to others undercutting.
Went to 2 car boots today and it must have been cos of the cold but I didn't buy one thing!
Got boxes of books under the bed of books that I need to read so going to make a big effort with them and be ruthless. If they aren't happenening after 2 chapters its Amazon or RISI for them.

Got a 4 out of 5 from a buyer with the wording "Highly satisfied"

What more could I have done to get a 5 out of 5?

Had 1 sale on Amazon yesterday, nothing today so far but have sold loads on eBay shop today!

Well i have a good weekend - sold 6 books since Friday night. Long may it continue!
Went to a car boot sale this morning. Didnt get there till ten as I had to drop ds at cricket. It was starting to drizzle and most buyers were startingt to pack up. Did get about ten books and thet reasonable priced ones on Amazon too. Had to be careful though with the condition of them. Some books which I was looking at were damp and therefore damaged.

I sold three books over the weekend (one went for 1p, but it's a paperback that I bought and didn't enjoy, so I'm not so bothered). I'm still selling the masses of books that I own, I haven't bought anything to sell. I've listed a few CDs but not sold any so far. I have a couple of boxfuls of videos, do they sell?
