Seriously I only do it for the same reasons, to prove to myself I CAN do it, and to motivate ME
That surely is the whole point of the rewards systems?

    For US?
Not to make other people feel bad or feel like they are in some way underachieving:cool:
Well said, that's what I was trying to say but you've said it much better! :T

Spose I'd better get off me bum and go and do washing up

That's what I mean - I know it's said in jest, but this isn't the first time such a remark has been aimed at me personally, and it upsets me none the less. I'll keep it to myself from now on.

Soappie and rosepink - thank you for your PMs - mind put at rest now :A

Penny, please don't worry. You don't need to keep your pleasure about your personal achievements to yourself, we are all pleased I'm sure that you manage to do so well.

Greenbee hope you get the job (if it's one you want and weren't pretending to want it but trying to not get it :rotfl:)

GnB hope all goes well with LO’s op on Tuesday

:eek: And SarahSH :eek: Please, I feel almost (AnW'sMum and other MSE families excepted and excused!) insulted..... I is BLONDE. Always have been, though the hairdresser helps out a bit now due to my advanced age ;)

Mind you when my Dad grew a beard, there was a definite ginger stripe in there somewhere!

I would just like to state for the record that I love red hair and am currently a redhead myself. ( after the purple debacle! :o  )

It's funny really how we imagine people, but I always envisaged you as a slim, neat woman, with a shiny auburn bob.:D

I was slim once but no longer am. But I've put some of that down to the effect of age and gravity. I'm 5'6" and just a little bit over 11 stone. A bit heavy for me but nothing I can't resolve by a bit of a life style change.

I have never achieved 'neat'. I can dress up to the nines and within three minutes I've either got a blob of something on my frock or a ladder in my tights or the wind has blown and my hair's out of shape again.
