evening all
bruno, so glad that your LO is sleeping better and hopefully seen the last of his reflux
feelie, don't know what to say except that I also feel like a rubblish mum at times. Funnily enough, your success at expressing gave me a pang of 'oh I wish I could've done that for fergie!', we probably all envy each other our competance in different areas of being a mum. I do hope things get better, please keep venting on here.
Lu T I'm glad you liked the linkies, shall I stop looking now :rotfl: seriously tho, do PM or post if any further research would strengthen your case, I still have free online access to the british medical journal and the british journal of obstetrics and gynaecologyand I do enjoy a good rummage
Cazscoob hope erin's doing ok today, sounds like you've been having an exhausting time!
and a hug for MFD, Redmel and emlou... are you all onto your 3-6 month baby clothes yet?
oh and MFD, not in a nagging way, but you always struck me as an organised gal on the preg thread, so if you did make a packing list for your west wales trip, I'd be grateful for a gander, we're off on hols in a few weeks and packing floors me at the best of times!
r.mac how frustrating about the health visitor! That's such a patent misunderstanding of the research! It's like she wants you to undernourish your baby for a few weeks! Grrrrrr:mad:;)
all boots baby club members probably got sent it, but I have a code for 10% of a £60 shop at boots on baby stuff, happy to post it if anyone likes... They also have lots of other deals we can use concurrently...
well, I sorted out my dry pailing issue, turns out my washing machine was blocked and was swilling it all in old stagnant wee water :rotfl:
have a lovely summer's evening all,
Weezl xx

Caz, Aimee's pyjamas very rarely match... She doesn't seem to traumatised by it
Last night was as bad as I feared,.. Managed to settle her for 12:30 and she slept till 4... then was awake for 2 1/2 hours... By the time I'd got her settled it was almost time to get up and get Aimee ready for school... We were supposed to be registering her at 9:30 too but ended up half an hour late... Halfway there I realised I'd forgotten the piece of paper I needed to take so hubby had to come back and fetch it and I ended up in tears at my own incompetence... Was not a good morning! Off to bed in a minute I think, she's been quite wakefull since about 4 so I'm hoping if I settle her now I might get a couple of good bits of sleep...
Oh yeah, and we had our first nappy explosion today... It hit her armpits!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Out of curiousity, if I ever get pg again, what does the current reseach say about gestational diabetes and c sections? I had one last time as I went to due date +1, they tried inducing me with pessaries but no result. Consultant felt I could not give birth naturally with my pelvis, so went straight to section. The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -
Feelie, a friend has been on anti depressants fpr PND since her first son 3 years ago. She recently had no 2, and had to go straight onto stronger ones, as the ones she could take when pg weren't helping enough.

Hi all.. Just a quick update on Rhys in case you're not also reading on the Pregnancy Thread..
We've had good news in that the consultant we saw yesterday morning thinks Rhys is over the worst of his immediate problems and we now just have to hope he stays stable and wait to see what the longterm consequences will be. We know there will be some - potentially feeding problems and needing a wheelchair, they think - due to the lack of oxygen at birth.
He is now (as of an hour ago) off all the artificial nutrition and completely fed on expressed breastmilkI'm having a few problems keeping my supply up so I'm on an expressing mission tonight / tomorrow to try to kickstart things again.
He's picked up remarkably since last Thursday/Friday but they suspected an infection and started him on antibiotics which seem to have done the trick. Has just had the last dose of them so we're hoping the windy belly and watery poo will also sort itself out soon too.
Once there is room, there is also talk of moving him out of intensive care and into special care as he is no longer "critical"There are also more and more mentions of "..WHEN he goes home.."
Hope you and your little ones are all well..xx

feelie, you have mentioned this before but you would regret it so much and you know that deep down. its a very hard time for anyone at this stage of parenthood, let alone someone with your history, and you seem to be handling it all brilliantly, everyone has some wobbles you arent alone on that one, and the issues you are having with your ex-OH really dont seem to be helping. you seem to have fantastic support from your mum, make the most you can of it. i was determined that i would BF and when it all got too much i caved really easily, yet you have persevered brilliantly with it this far! i do think its right that you take a step back from the expressing though for what my opinion is worth, the meds you can then have will hopefully help you more than what you are having, and if you havent got a pump attached to you for such a long time of the day perhaps you will find it easier to cope? it will certainly give you less to think about and help you feel more rested.
weezl, seth is mostly in 3-6 months clothes but i do squeeze him into some 0-3, the MSE in me cant bear to give up putting him in them until i really have to :rotfl:Mummy to
