Hey guys everything is fine, not much to report really not sure i have much of a garden left just mud everywhere haha.
I don't mind so much the lads and me have been working hard, sort of got carried away and the couple of raised beds i needed for practical veg growing reasons turned into a whole garden re-landscape.
Not really sure i can blame Dave for this haha, it seemed like a good idea at the time though it is going to take a few more weekends than we'd planned, the good new's is that hopefully i should have somewhere to plant my veg by the end of the day as long as the weather holds out.
Dave's friend is nice he's coming back to help finish off the raised beds today, we got on well which i guess is a bonus. He did have a "quiet word" with me about "not hurting dave, because he's been though alot with his ex"but it was ok, a friend looking out for another friend and i can understand that.
I think he approved of the relationship, just warned me Dave had a tendency to jump into things abit to fast and heavy and for me to keep a tight grip on the reigns.
Spoke to Dave about his trip told him i'd miss him and i think we've settled on some loose arrangement, a slight disagreement on the practicality's of it. Im going to visit one weekend, not sure which.. Dave naturally wants me to say at his hotel with him, though he did promise no "funny business" while my idea was to get a travel lodge for the night.
I think that one is still up for disscussion but im not sure im willing to budge on it, don't get me wrong he's not pressuring me in a bad heavy way but i think he'd be lying if he said he wasn't hoping for growth into a more intimate relationship without the excuse of kids or having to be somewhere etc etc...This months aim :- Stick to food Budget / find £100 for my car insuranceMay GC :- £250/£234.55 :T:A:TJune GC :- £150/£127.37:eek:0 -
Taye-glad things a going well. Hope the garden gets sorted soon . My garden is beginning to look a little like a forest.
really glad that you get on well with his friend. Always makes things easier and I think it is nice that he is looking out for his friend. that is what true friend would do IMO.
I agree with you about the hotel. Do what you are most comfortable with. he sounds like a man that will understand.January Grocery 11/3740 -
Taye,
It all sounds both lovely and sensible. That's me with a happy smile this morning. Ah, I remember those early days andthe excited feelings...:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. One thing for sure though - Dave won't know about it because he doesn't need to be a MSE-er!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
