I agree...you can take a "shopping list" with you and after every staff member interaction just go to the next aisle and put their name and description and a brief note down as if you were writing in your shopping list.
Good luck
I tend to type a lot fo texts on the supermarket jobs ....0 -
Does the RE website have an auto-refresh facility on it?
I clicked to check for jobs a few minutes ago, waited and it came back as zero. Just gone back on and there's 2 jobs there (no good for me, but that's not the point!)Now proud Mumto3 :j0 -

Hi, yes the 'green one'. I'll give it a go then (since you say it's easy!)

Its a good extra resource but I don't think I'll defect from this one. There was even a posting "They have a realy good forum on Money Saving Expert. I found it really helpful." which was nice. Anybody here aka mimi1234?
You don't have to defect
It seems that Service Science advertise there quite a lot and they do Hotel vists (single and couples. ) amongst others.
As they don't advertise on here I thought it may help some others.
I've done several jobs for them over the years and they are OK.0 -

Following on from the discussion on describing people. Does anyone have the same problem as me or am I dyslexic or just thick.
It is spelling some words. When do you say enquiry and when do you say inquiry. The other one is "This pub had a nice ambience or should that be ambiance,"
Please tell me some others have this problem.
Please don't think I'm showing off as English is the only thing I'm good at!
Enquiry: Used for asking a question, ie: Where is the cheese.
Inquiry: Is for making an investigation, ie: There will be a full inquiry to find the cause of the train crash. HTH.0 -
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for new thread monkey boy.
Happy to keep sending out my spreadsheet, as I've sent it to about 40 people now - should have copyrighted it :rotfl:
But please when you PM me, you need to send your email address because you can't attach anything to a PM.
Cheers loads Josie
Spreadsheet is good. a lot easier to use than my last one :j0 -
Can I just check something please?
I have read the first page (thanks to everyone who contributed) so I understand the mileage and printing allowances but......
For tax purposes if I am doing a supermarket shop and they require me to spend £3, they pay me £5 for doing the job as well as the reimbursing me the £3 I had to spend. Do I count the £3 I HAD to spend as taxable pay?
I understand if I do an 'eat in' job then the reimbursment for the food is not classed as taxable pay. :j (Is this right?)
Also what do you all claim towards your broadband/telephone, computer and spare room as an office costs? Is there anything else I should be offsetting against my 'wages' from MSing, I would hate to overpay on TAX, pay enough on my 'daytime' job!!
Thank you all in advance.
