On an MSE note for a change - bio-oil is currently £11.95 for 200ml from Amazon (free delivery)...kelkoo tells me that this is a good deal, although I know sometimes you can get it cheap from Home Bargains.

I got some...it is working wonders on my stretch marks...I think :o
I think thats a good deal, can anyone confirm I've worked it out right?
    Wilkinsons/home bargains price £4.99 for 60mls
    4.99 divided by 60 = 0.0832
    Amazon price £11.95 for 200ml
    11.95 divided by 200 = 0.0598

    therefore amazon is cheapest?

I've had MW and HV this afternoon; bump isn't engaged but is "fixed" so is definitely getting ready - eek I'm going to be a mummy of 2 very soon!!
HV confirmed that some spots on Chris's bits n bobs are thrush so I've managed to pass it on to him :( thankfully he's not got any sign in his mouth so that is something. I also found out that 'my' HV is off at the mo coz she's having/had a hip replacement (she's only about 50:confused:) she won't be back for a while so I'll have someone else when bump arrives but I ask the one I saw today to put me down as hers or one of the other ones I know well
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

Sami - just realised your bump is due on the same day as my sister's (samantha) birthday:D
Poor Chris, at least you can get it cleared up for him now it has been confirmed.

r.mac - I keep hinting at dh saying things like, 'what shall I do with my maternity clothes?' and 'ahhh poor Kai needs a little playmate':rotfl: I'm not sure if I have persuadedhim yet, but when I said I would love another next year he said the year after would be better:confused:

I read on the front of one of the newspapers that there is now a male 'pill' injection?? I didn't read the whole article, just spotted the headline as I walked past it. Anyone heard of it?

    Happy Birthday Charlotte :-)

And speaking of poo, we're doing baby led weaning so poos are a wonder now, I spend an unhealthy amount of time peering and attempting to identify the bits! (This morning: "What the heck is that?! Oh it's asparagus!")

r mac - just to confirm when little ones are sick sleep is absolutely the bestest thing for them - its how they conserve their energy to fight whatever it is. even at 11 months when Oz is sick (like go the cold right now) he sleeps more. and i second tipping the moses basket/cot up a little bit to ease the snuffles, and also snufflebabe is quite good and i use karvol drops too.

I forgot to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLOTTE!!! hope it was lovely!!

Susan dont know if you're joking or not! but bio oil is great for scars and stretch marks though quite expensive for a small bottle. i did buy it when i was pregnant but too lazy to put it on every day (regretting it now!)

Mel - Kai is lovely - gorgeous dark hair, wee dote!
    DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY ;)
