And Kai is lovely! (And his Tigger top is fab - we're big Tigger fans in my house!)0 -
Happy birthday, Charlotte :j (although you're probably in bed now and your Mum needs some well-deserved peace and quiet after all the excitement!
). Doesn't seem that long ago Becles disappeared off the internet for a few days and everyone guessed she must've had her baby!

Happy Birthday Charlotte! Hope you had an okay day despite the snuffles.
Rmac - another thing you could try is Karvol drops. I put them on a damp flannel on the radiator in Imogen's room. It's a menthol-type smell similar to Vicks/Snufflebabe. not sure if there's an age restriction, sorry.
Am annoyed that I had one day 'booked' for a lie-in this week and I've ended up agreeing to work :-( We've been interviewing today and owing to a cack-up with our central HR people we invited a candidate to interview at 9.30am today and she didn't get back off her honeymoon until last night and was in London. We've seen everyone else, but as it wasn't her fault (and she looks good on paper) we wanted to interview her. So we've offered 10am on Thursday, but in an office an hour's drive away. Aaarrrggh!

Just had a quiet day as we're still bad with this flu-ey cold bug.
Bought her some fuzzy felt and we opened it after her bath tonight. She spent ages playing with it and was fascinated by it. Good present if anyone is looking for ideas! Here I go again on my own....0 -
Happy Birthday Charlotte, I seriously can't believe that she is now 2yrs, i keep thinking of her as that little baby Becles used to talk about!!!!
Re poos, seriously anyone with babies not performing, use a little water, or prune juice and as they get older add purreed prunes to their breakfast or as a fruit during the day. Problem solved. U can always dilute the prune juice if its too strong but I made my own from soaking prunes and it was fine. Too healthy pooy children.
I've had to battle with infant reflux twice and the medicines used can be prone to constipation, so I used to do prevention rather than cure.
Sorry to hear your news Keeleykat, please do stay in touch as an when you feel like you can.

That is funny :rotfl:
When Joshua was a tiny baby, he was hungry and my Mam was holding him while I went to get a glass of water first. She had her face close to his and was saying "ohh who's a hungry baby then?" when all of a sudden, he lunged his whole body forward and started sucking her nose :rotfl:I got into trouble for saying he must think she looks like a tit:D
I was reading Essential's magazine and they published some lovely recipes from this book:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fays-Family-Food-Fay-Ripley/dp/0718154606
It's all quick and simple nutritious food that is suitable for all the family. I've ordered it as I think it will be useful as I prefer to feed my lot home cooked food. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Ladybird that is hilarious! Celia still bops her head against anything in the hope that milk will appear *sigh*Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0

Izzy always falls asleep, falls off, then tries to latch herself to my tummy. She seems to have worked out that latching onto Granny/Daddy/Grandad's t-shirt won't get her very far though!
