    It is good to make a point in the discussion else it just looks like you see the thread title, thinks its good, but have no comment on the discussion that has taken place.

    The OP has stated that it's their own personal view point and states why.
    There has been counter discussion and events since which counter the points.

    just "bumping" a thread with no additional point to the thread is literally quite pointless
