Marshallka, maybe they mean whos jurisdiction as in which Insurance company should deal with it ,not that its not in their jurisdiction?

Does the FSCS not cover insurance companies in Liquidation?
Miller Firstline were not an insurance company, they were the administrators who you had to deal with. Miller Firstline have now liquidated but all enquiries should be dealt with by Cassidy Davis who send the complaint onto Lloyds. The insurance company who I thought dealt with everything overall was Lloyds... .
• think they are just not lending anymore. You need to see who sold you the insurance what address do you have on your papers? there is always hope;)
Give me a minute and I will get an address and phone number.:A

You are an:A ! I have a copy of a letter from them with this address:

Could someone check these figures for me. I think they are wrong.
I had a letter giving me the amount that I would be getting back for the PPL on my Credit Card.

Refund of Premiums paid to date £3,023.83
Interest Charaged on Premiums £1,058.15
Compensatory Interest 8% £429.54
Total £4,511.52

The APR on the card is 18.95%

Would i need a full break down of every month I pad for the last 7 years?

Monkey
I don't understand what you mean here.. .

Are you saying those are the figures they are repaying you and then what are the figures that you think they are??

I emailed FSCS again as its been just over a fortnight and not received a reply yet, so I emailed them half hour ago just to advise them that we have heard from the liquidators who suggested it would be a good idea to contact them also, in order to hope to move this on quicker. (although I did not mention this literally to them lol) only to say the claim is lodged.

Also decided to email the liquidators again too, even though not sent them a figure yet..... , I thought perhaps they maybe able to confirm anything.;)

Thank you for that info, I have spoken to them and the nice helpfull! chap I spoke to wasn't able to tell me if we went through a broker or direct. However he sugested that I email them and during the process of investigating the claim they will find out and let me know.

The email address if anyone else needs it is : crt.pleaseassist@citi.com he promised me that the emails do get looked at.
