Before he had replied within a day or two. Now nothing...
Its annoying, like with mine he replied to a recent one last week but said nothing about the emails I sent earlier.......
You would think they would have an underhand to email if they are not available, I did with Nemo......., when the adjudicator was not available there was an automated email and an email address of who to contact.... .

Regulation of Lloyd's
Lloyd's is regulated by the UK Financial Services Authority (FSA), under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
The FSA also regulates Lloyd's managing agents, members' agents and Lloyd's brokers.
The FSA and Lloyd's have common objectives in ensuring that Lloyd's market is appropriately regulated and, to minimise duplication, the FSA has agreed arrangements with Lloyd's for the co-operation on supervision and enforcement.
Yes, this is exactly what I was thinking when I read the above on the lloyds of london website. It seems to me that Cassidy Davis are a agent of Lloyds so therefore they are regulated.
I have sent an email to Cassidy Davis asking who they were regulated by prior to 14 jan 04.
Guess what, my b****y lappy keeps switching off, think its too hot, the mouse on the lappy is dodgy to, think I will be drop kicking this one if it does it anymore.
Well the good thing about it is, when my daughter has thrown me off to go on it herself when it switches off she goes to watch tv while its loading and I steel it :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl::wave:0 -
Hi all. I was wondering whether anybody could advise me about whether I should proceed with a claim against Abbey. My partner and I took out a mortgage with them in 2006 and were sold the Paymentcare Mortgage Protection (we took out the accident & sickness cover but not the unemployment cover). I cannot remember being asked whether either of us had a policy at work that would cover this at the time that we signed up. I have now discovered that I do have such a policy so would have been covered regardless. Thus I have cancelled the policy but would I be able to claim back any of my money on this? Thanks for any advice.0

Hi there
To my knowledge you can try to reclaim on any insurance if you believe you were mis sold, however wait for a reply from someone else to confirm this.
Whatever your reason and you want to try to pursue on this then write a reclaim letter to them and add your own reasons of why you believe this was mis sold to you.
If you like, above this page in a red box "reclaim £1,000's" you will find some useful info on there and also a template letter which may help you.
As always they have 40 days to respond - post by recorded delivery, if not successful another letter maybe required and then/or the financial ombudsman service if you want to go this route later.
Let us know the outcome and we will guide you from there.
Good luck and hopefully someone else will be able to confirm your query as above.;)
Lol, its okay just re-read my mistake here, 8 weeks and not 40, its 8 weeks for a re-claim and 40 days SAR, don't know what I was thinking then lol. Sorry ! x
