Marshallka on the back of the fp ppi document it states that "the insurers are not members of the GISC? Cassidy Davis

Think you might already know this but have a look anyway:

http://www.lloyds.com/About_Us/What_is_Lloyds/Regulation_of_Lloyds.htm its a link from the cassidy davis website
But on the documents it also states that Lloyds of london are involved and it says that if you have a complaint then this can then go before the Insurance Ombudsman and I have a complaint so this should be the case. The underwriters are LLoyds, Cassidy Davis and Zurich and although it states to write to Miller FIrstline in the first instance it also mentions that my complaint can be taken to Lloyds to review your case. It then says if you remain dissatified you can then contact the Insurance Ombudsman. Your rights in Law.

Hi, I'm new to all of this, so I hope you'll be gentle with me... My husband and I had a few rough years and I've had a look at any old loan agreements that we had during this time looking out for ppi. We took out a second mortgage with Future Mortgages in December 02, which we've subsequently paid in full. I have a copy of a statement dated Apr 03 which includes £4,550 'credit care premium'. I also have a copy of the secured loan agreement which does mention 'optional insurance' and names my husband, but there's no mention on this agreement of how much this will cost. Do you think we have a case here? My husband was self employed during 2002 and we were stoney broke, so I strongly suspect we were told that we had to take this out, even though it says 'optional insurance'.

Did future sell you this or a broker?

    Dreamer

On the bottom of the Evidence of Insurance form it states

any enquiry of complaint that you have should be addressed, in the first instance, to the claims manager of the scheme administrators at the address above. Should you not be satisfied with the reponse you may ask the complaints and advisory department at Lloyds to review your case. If you still remain dissatisfied you may then contact the Insurance Ombudsman. The scheme administrators will provide the address, Your rights in law.

I have now emailed this to the person that told me they may have jurisdictional issues.

    I cannot see how...

How do Egg go about sending you a 'signed' copy of the loan agreement when it was completed online please?? They owe me A LOT of money!!! :(

Has anyone suceeded with Egg (credit card) on grounds that they didn't have it fully explained or requested it??? I guess this is near impossible as the T&C's were there online??

If it was signed on line you can view it on line I believe. I have just sent mine to the FOS as I did not request this but they say I did.
    What year was this?

  • has anyone got any idea how quickly m & s credit cards deal with claims?
  • Could someone check these figures for me. I think they are wrong.
I had a letter giving me the amount that I would be getting back for the PPL on my Credit Card.

Refund of Premiums paid to date £3,023.83
    Interest Charaged on Premiums £1,058.15
    Compensatory Interest 8% £429.54
    Total £4,511.52

The APR on the card is 18.95%

Would i need a full break down of every month I pad for the last 7 years?

I do not belive so (was ~2001!) - the thing is PPI only started on the card 3 years after I got it (and I would have never requested it after the application that's for sure!!).
If I did tick the box online I'm guessing that would demolish any case???

Have you ever done a balance transfer on line?
