HELP! I can't stop opening new savings accounts!!

I always had my savings in just one place, and didn't think twice.
Now, I keep opening new accounts that look 'safe'.
Is there a Addicted to Opening Savings Accounts support group anywhere?:o

Yep I'm also affected, first Halifax, then Nationwide, Ulster Bank, Ice Save, Kaupthing Edge, ING, A&L and about to go to ICICI as well! lolNorthern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

haha, I've done the same in the last week or so, now have Egg, B&B, Alliance & Leicester and Tesco! Nothing in any of them, apart from £1 from Egg because I'm still waiting for my ICICI BACS payment and of course, my Icesave balance0

Oh gosh this is me too and it keeps going wrong (SOB)
KE went under a week after I put money in (money currently missing)
Now I have an ING account too
Opened an Anglo Irish account and scared to use it (cos of Iceland govt guarantee failing)
Opened a Cap One account and managed to omit account number so money went missing for a few days. Now scared to use anything but British banks that have signed up to government deal.
I already had a Building society savings account
Since then I've opened 3 others with major UK banks just before their shares dipped the other day and one with the B&B. My credit rating must be looking exceptionally strange at the moment!!!
Many take so long to fully set up too - at least 2 weeks!0 -
I'm on the same bandwaggon. The current nightmare is remembering all the new logons and passwords :think:How much? You're having a laugh!0

Totally agree - that's why i mucked up the capital one transfer - they want the fields filled in differently to everyone else! Another thing to remember!!!Spreadsheet wrote: »I'm on the same bandwaggon. The current nightmare is remembering all the new logons and passwords :think:0
