    toozie - thanks for this - I printed off your message last week, but got round to buying one today from LXDirect - so many thanks for this :) So I have thanked you for your post. Somewhat a bargin for £9.99 and in chrome (a theme for my home at the moment)

    Now to start planning with the SC for even more vauled meals - cor, I can't wait for beef stew and dumplings :D

    Cheers for that. I went for this one. Have previously resisted slow cookers because I don't eat meat, and am actually not very busy (sorry!). Still there could be days that its useful- or perhaps there are some things the slow cooker is better for? I'll have to take a good look around here to find out some tasty tips!

    Bit of a coincidence 2 N.I. people posting at the same time re this- another deal will come I'm sure. I'm in England and have received the S.C. but they've charged me full price! Lx sometimes do this?? Thought I remembered this from before- but perhaps they know this... I haven't purchased anything for 2 yrs maybe, don't get sent catalogues and did open a new a/c. Will email them, if no refund will send back.

    For you guys in N.Ireland. I noticed the Makro mail has the Morphy Richards 6.5ltr for £14.99.

    I think i'll be having one of those.
