    - just the one??? There seemed to be many more!!:rotfl:
Well done everyone who has lost, and especially Lois for reaching the challenge with ages to spare!!
Went to the gym tonight and I was the only one there so Darren made me work extra hard - lets hope I burnt some blubber off!
Now have to tidy up before the cleaner comes tomorrow - I know this seems back to front but she comes to clean not tidy!!!

That is exactly why I could never have a cleaner! I would have to clean and tidy before she came because I couldn't have her think we were dirty/untidy!

    Well done Lois!
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

Evening all. Here is the chart for this week. A big congratulations (or is it comiserations) to our SOTW Julesgr for a whopping 10lbs lost this week and congrats also go to starlight_xx for a fab 5lb loss. Well done to Bindiboo for losing 4.4lbs after her holiday gain - a great turnaround. A special well done to Lois Lane who has achieved the monthly challenge with ease.

PS - I chickened out of weighing in this week - my refocus didn't last the whole week! Onwards, however....

morning all! went to see my friend and her new baby last night. They are terrifyingly small aren't they? I got brave and scratched her tummy a bit. Babies frighten me.

chart looking good efrieze, thank you. Hope you feel better next week!

So I take it the baby didn't make you feel broody! I had two of my own, but you forget how tiny they are at the start.

Hi II D2: welcome to the forum. There is no one exact 'correct weight' for a certain height, but more a range that if you fall between is considered healthy. I don't know if you are male or female, but I have entered your height of 5.7 and max weight of 11 stone into a 'bmi calculator' (this is the weight guide range dr's use) and for both female and male you come out as a healthy weight. This is a good starting point. It sounds like self conficence is the issue for you. And being 18 is a very hard age in terms of wanting to fit in and look your best.
There is so much pressure in our society to look a certain way, or have a 6 pack if you're a bloke and be a size 0 if you're a woman. It's ridiculous of course and many people make there lives a misery in the persuit of the impossible. Self confidence and self belief are what attract people to each other I think. Getting regular exercise would tone your body more ( and you may be toned enough already) and make sure you stay healthy on the inside too. But make sure it is exercise that you find fun, and perhaps get to make new friends through as well.
Hope this helps a bit. Do ask more if you want. And I expect others will answer later in the day.

Kpc -I think you're supposed to go goochy goochy goo when tickling a baby's tummy:D .
Thanks for the chart efrieze:T .
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Congrats everyone this week. II D2, BB's advice is spot on; you're more than welcome to stay around and ask anything else we can help you with.
