any suggestions for what flavoured spirits I should make?
I'm aiming to make liqurice (sp) Vodka

would like to make cherry brandy but can't find a recipe!

I would love a recipe for slow gin. I HATE
gin but tried this one christmas at a friends and it was yummy!
Not sure where you get the sloes from though, never seen them in shops guess they grow wild like blackberries

oh and toffe vodka - the recipe I found was to bash up them weathernals orginals? and let them dissolve in the vodka!

My Mum used to make raspberry gin and damson gin - she used to put raspberries or damsons in a bowl - about half a pound per bottle of gin, and cover them with sugar and the gin. She used to cover the bowl (used a tupperware) and leave it for a few days and then strain it into the gin bottle again - it had increased in volume so she would bottle the extra in washed out miniature bottles. It was veritable rocket fuel because the sugar makes the alcohol more potent.Jane
