Club Seasons worth £2950.00..

Just received from clubseasons.co.uk offer of a prize to the value of £2950.00 in last months MyOffers/Seasons grand prize draw. Astounded ...never win anything and don't remember entering it!! I have to freephone them to authenticate the claim. I've had a look at the website and I think it's a membership to their club. Looks like I have to pay a maintenance fee yearly of £300+. However there seems to be quite a choice....bit like a timeshare. Anyway, not sure if I can afford it even though it looks like a good deal at the outset. I will let you know what's what later. :j

Has anyone taken them up on this offer? I'd like to think that it's worth it but, not having spare cash, I'd like to find out if anyone is in the same boat and has signed up and has found that it's worth the money. Thanks.0

I 'won' this last year and was considering as you are what to do. There was quite a lot of discussions from members on other sites about clubseasons. If you google it you should find plenty of info. After reading some of the reviews we decided not to bother.Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0

Thanks for that. I asked the travelman on this forum the question and he gave me the same advice and I've worked my finances out and it's not worth it by the time you buy flights etc......:cool:0

I am sure you will win a genuine prize, with no cost involved soon.

I became a Club Seasons member in May, I entered the competition with the same thought as all competitions I enter I will never win!! However here I am 2 months down the line and enjoyed a fantastic break at Whitbarrow Village and all booked and ready to go to Gemini Park in Turkey this August....21st in fact....counting the days. I would say it is the best thing I have ever done the accomodation is fantastic and the staff very friendly everything is made so easy. Anyone that comes accross this grab it with both hands its a brilliant opportunity. Now I understand why Club Seasons offer a money back guarantee no one will want it after visiting a resort. Just to think I almost through it in the bin!!
As for not being to go in school holidays I dont know what you mean by that because I am going in August and not paying anything extra.0 -

Funny how only has 1 post and 1 thanks from Rudi the original poster. Now call me suspicious (You're "suspicious") but I smell a rodent!!A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

I have not had anything like this, but my thoughts on it are, if you have to pay out, then you haven't won a prize - if you'd won a competition, you would be \Given your prize.0
