I just realised today that I was missing something. I hadn't followed the new link. I know it was weeks ago! We have had nearly three weeks of eating out, many celebrations and today it suddenly dawned on me that I had forgotten I was trying to lose weight. So, today I begin again. I have been very good and signed back up to Body Optimise on line and have kept my Saturday weigh in day.
I also got an email today telling me I have won a Wii and wiifit thingumy. I am not sure if I will be able to manage the exercises as I am quite restricted in what I can do but with GP and physios advice I will give it a go. Of course the kids are delighted as they don't have anything so advanced.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

ROCK ON CHANGES!
Hi Kenny
Glad you can notice the changes in your bodyshape. If by any chance you do seem to have put on weight remember that muscle weighs more than fat. Well done!:jI would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -

You are so lucky! :T Which competition did you win it in? I'm sure you are going to love it.I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -
Lois I think Ajax is getting his Austrias and Switzerlands mixed up :rotfl:
Ajax don't you remember your comment to me about empathy with the Austrian ski slopes?
Oh no the bitey boot is back.... Lois, how could you do it?
Had an MS Access course yesterday - what cool software that is!!
Am seriously considering going back to SW classes, although I think it should be just as easy to do it without it
Today's games France (funkyfunkymonkey) vs Italy (Suggs)
Netherlands (ajax) vs Romania (Brighton Belle)
Hope Holland are smart enough to rest the whole team and let Romania win - that will knock out both France and Italy and Holland will still win the group.0 -
Congratulations on the win Poohbear! I hope you will be able to get some use out of the wii fit. I don't know what your activity restrictions are, but I would say there is something on there for most people
It isn't all about physical effort
Let us know how you and the kids get on!
Leo, if we're talking figures, here's the formula to work out BMR (women only, but I'm sure if you google you'll find the men's one):655+(9.6*x)+(1.8*y)-(4.7*z)
x = your weight in kilos
y = your height in cm
z = your age in years
This should be more accurate than using body weight alone, but if a person is very muscular they'll need more calories, or if they have a lot of body fat they'll need fewer.
I'm thinking of having another go at the 5km run this evening... will see how I feel in about an hour.0 -

That is interesting missyg, thanks for that - using that information into excel the PC worked out that my rest rate is 1940 Calories
I will take up on Suggs crazy figures format on the workout - did a period today and my T-Shirt was wet though! - first time I;ve done that... this is what I have done.. (small and steady at first..)
5min 1.53 miles 50 calories - Bike (warm up)
5min 1.65 miles 54 calories Level 12 Bike
5min 0.55 miles 104 calories 5mph 3 hill - Treadmill
10min 1.25miles 155 calories hill Level 8 X-Trainier
Total Calorie burnout = 363 Calories  not bad for 4th sitting
Very impressed with that, I enjoied the X-Trailer, so will foucs on that with the treadmill as my running is crap. Will have to reset the rowing again soon when I get alittle bit more into this. It's hard to find the balance when you are love.

Missy Glad your up for it,hopefully you will still be up for it a little later, and you do that 5km. Im not a natural runner either, I hate running, but see it as a nessecery evil and something I need to do. So to me I need all the motivation I can get. Have you recovered from this mornings exertions?? Not that I had anything to do with it

haha, not very good teachers then
You need to upload them to a image hosting site - try www.photobucket.com as they are good. When you created the account click on broswe and select the photos, then click on upload. When the images are in the account you need to copy the address next to IMG tag.
In this post click on the little picture of the mountian and sun and copy the image address into that and click on okay and away you go
