    Hi Everyone

@ paul2louise - Where the amount is greyed out there should be a little ‘i’ if you click on that it should provide the reason why you are unable to load funds to your card via that method. If this doesn’t help please do drop me an email at mse@topcashback.co.uk so I can take a look

    Best wishes,
    Matt

    I have emailed you.
The new card arrived on saturday morning.
I have gone onto my account. Love2shop is still greyed out. I have clicked on the i and it says the following
Payment option not available because : you already have an outstanding love2shop high street shopping card order on you account. Please wait for your love2shop card to arrive in the post and return to your tcb account to reload it with your cashback

    TCB.

My OH took up your emailed one day offer of £5 cashback on a £10 spend the other day.

It says the £5 will show on the account when the purchase shows as tracked..

When exactly is that? The purchase is showing as pending but there is no sign of the £5 bonus.

    Thank you.
  • Hi, I'd be grateful if someone (preferably a TCB rep) could answer this (I've looked at TCB's T&Cs but couldn't find an answer):

If I make a purchase from The Works using my Together reward points (either towards the purchase amount or covering it completely) would the transaction be eligible for cashback (assuming I meet the other qualifying conditions, e.g. clicking through to the site from TCB, not using an unapproved code, etc.)?

Although my question refers specifically to The Works, it could equally be applied to other TCB-listed retailers with loyalty points schemes.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, for part payment anyway. Have recently made a purchase where the full amount was paid with Together Rewards but can't comment on that one yet. I have always had to lodge a missing claim for the cashback though, as it never tracks.

Thanks for the reply, Kim_13. Let me know how your recent purchase (paid fully with Together points) goes - hopefully it'll qualify. Meanwhile, I'd still be grateful if a TCB rep could provide an answer, since I'd like to order from The Works soon, and of course it could be weeks or months until you (Kim_13) know whether the transaction in question has qualified for cashback. Also, it would be useful if TCB covered this subject in their FAQ section.

As for tracking, well, I don't use TCB very often, but my transactions usually track. It seems odd that yours never track. Without wishing to come across as condescending, have you read TCB's tips on how to increase the likelihood (I won't say "ensure") that your transactions track successfully? Following them may at least reduce the number of missing cashback claims you have to make. I know it's not guaranteed, though - it looks like I'm going to have to lodge a claim for my latest purchase, which isn't displayed at all in My Earnings. According to the site, I have to wait until 7 days have elapsed with no record of the transaction showing in my account before I can lodge a claim. I made another purchase at around the same time via another well-known cashback site, and received an email two hours later informing me that it had tracked, so I doubt that the non-tracking of the TCB purchase was because of something I was doing wrong. Anyway, I'll definitely be chasing that one up as I'd activated the £5 bonus on a £10+ spend offer. I know that Martin advises not to base a decision whether to purchase or not purely on a cashback offer, but I - like many others, I imagine - couldn't resist. And I restricted my spend to exactly a tenner. And the items were almost half price. And I do need what I bought. Kind of.

Thanks again for the response! One last thing: I know how to quote a post (or part of one), but how do you do the 'Originally posted by Username' bit followed by the 'View Post' button?
  • Hey everyone,

@ Yorkshire Pud – I am sorry this hasn’t progressed for you yet. I can confirm we had a team who were speaking with their cashback network in order to remedy the situation at hand and the outstanding cashback while also investigating how to speed up payments going forward. We do work to get things resolved but we are just one part of the commission earning system and we need to work to ensure all areas are looked into to get to the bottom of the slow progression of cashback. Sometimes there’s a wider situation that needs investigating and not necessarily as simple as getting the merchant to pay the funds.

    I hope this helps everyone.

    Best wishes,
    Matt

Sorry Matt but it can't be THAT complicated and as you are the ones who pay the CB it is you I rely on to sort matters which you have singularly and persistently failed to do. Nor can you offer any cogent reason for the delay, just flim flam 'answers' that tell me nothing. Otherwise I would have the CB by now. I hope potential customers of TCB get the gist of how this company actually works.

I'm now going to take up 2010's advice, at least he has a plan.

    Hi everyone,

@paul2louise - I have replied to your email and I hope I have managed to explain why you are unable to load the card at this current time.

@POPPYOSCAR - Hi Poppy, if you activated the offer and it have a tracked purchase amount of more than £10 this should track. If it was for Ebay this will work slightly differently and will be added within the next couple of days. If this was for a different merchant please email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk so I can look into this.

@Schnurrbart – For different merchants this will change, some will pay on full payment, others only on part payment and a few may decline the whole cashback as ineligible. In order for me to look into The Works in in particular, although I would assume going by Kim_13’s they pay on full payment, could you email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk so I can ask our team to get this clarified with the merchant?

In regards to your ‘'Originally posted by Username' query, you just need to click below the message you would like to quote and click on the quote button and the forum will do the rest :)

@Yorkshire Pud - Sorry you feel like that, we are part of a wider commission earning process and can only use what we can to get issues resolved. We also want the co-op transactions outstanding to be paid which is why a team has gone beyond what is normally done to get this resolved, by doing this we won't be just helping our members but all the other commission sources that are still expecting commission. I am sorry you feel the commission earning process is more simpler than what I have explained as this is not the case.

    Best wishes,

No it doesnt , we have one card at home waiting to load the credit on and another in the post, neither accounts have the option to load any credit onto cards as the love2shop option is greyed out. Does this greyed out option disappear after 14 days. It isnt very clear. When we ordered cards last year they arrived with credit on them ready to spend. Why are both of us having so much trouble getting a love2shop card. We wanted them for getting christmas presents but this is taking forever. Please note i have tried spliting the payments so that isnt the reason why i cant select it
Please explain the process so i can understand.

    Hi Schnurrbart

Perhaps I could have worded that better. I meant that my purchases with The Works never track, not every merchant. The vast majority of my purchases do track correctly.

I recall reading in the £5 bonus Ts and C's that the £5 may not be payable if a Missing Cashback claim is needed with the original transaction - so you may be out of luck, but it's always worth a go.
