In Dec 2015 I submitted a transfer of ownership form per Vodafone instructions and long story short, my phone has not been able to receive data since. There are many other issues but this is the main one.
I have called the support line countless times. I have been into the Vodafone shop on 5 occasions.
Vodafone is still charging me a monthly fee even though my phone is not working and more importantly, they say they will bill me £560 if I try to exit my contract.
I have sent a registered letter to Vodafone Customer Relations in Newberry. I have the signature verifying the letter was received. However, I have had NO RESPONSE at all from Vodafone.
I have contacted the Ombudsman, but they will not assist me until 8 weeks AFTER Vodafone send me a final resolution letter.
As I can get no response from Vodafone or if I call the support team I go through the same procedures they have been doing since this issue began.
Any advice on how I can proceed will be greatly appreciated.

that's not true, its either 8 weeks after you have contacted them, OR received the final resolution letter

Except they'll never receive such a letter from this lot.

Follow the repeated instructions on this thread since you've now learned nothing else works.

    Hello Lee
Can you have a look at my complaint. Ported my old number from EE to my new second contract with vodafone. Replaced my existing vodafone number instead of the new temp one. would like to have my old number back and have the ported EE number to the temp number.

Already spoken to vodafone and port in team on 23rd and 25th April promising to have it sorted while waiting 48 hours and 72 hours but nothing done.

    Thanks
    Ka

Could I just ask, I followed the instructions in post 1 and have submitted my complaint, but haven't received any automated reply as yet. Is it supposed to come straight away or can this take longer to actually get the reference number? I'm sorry if I've missed it if it says how long it takes. Thank you

You should get a email replay straight away. ref number is on the email header.

    Hello MSE fans!

I have been trying to resolve this problem with Vodafone for some time and got nowhere but more and more frustrated.

I have had a Galaxy S5 for around 18 months, and took it to the USA in June of 2015. I took it to use the net to stay in contact with family back here while I was away on my first trip alone to a country I have never been to.

I discovered that because of the different frequencies that AT&T use for thier internet services on 3G and 4G, with the Galaxy S5, I was unable to get anything beyond HSPA+ and the speed was like watching paint dry at barely 1/0.4Mbps anywhere I went. Ever since, I have been trying to find ways around that and discovered that the Galaxy S7 will work over in the US.

I ordered one yesterday while sat in a Vodafone store in Chapelfield Shopping Center in Norwich. I was in discussion with one of the staff members there for some time. I contacted Vodafone on my phone from there, and I went ahead with a new contract with an S7 based on the next day delivery for today (Saturday). Today is now the day I am supposed to get my phone. I am now being told that some kind of fabricated "human error" and/or "misinformation" that I don't believe for one second has resulted in the delivery for today not being possible. Is there anything I can do about this?

I am paying £74 for an early upgrade and £49 upfront + £9.95 for delivery today. All of these were added to my bill so I could pay them off in this way: £104 for my current phone (Galaxy S5) + £29 on my card on Wednesday. I agreed to this new contract based on the promise that I would get my phone today (Saturday 30th April 2016).

I am now being told that I would have to wait until Monday 2nd/Tuesday 3rd for it despite the fact that I was promised it would be delivered today and that I paid £9.95 for that next day delivery. I have been tearing my hair out trying to explain this to them on the phone and the only result is that I have ended up more and more frustrated. I am at the end of my tether and am at a loss for what to do next since it appears that Vodafone Customer Services seem to only want to do one thing, and that is to call me a liar repeatedly when I explain this.

    Someone, please help...

**UPDATED** to elaborate a little more and correct the location of the Vodafone store.

Hi, I just wondered if anyone could help me, I've followed the procedure but I'm not getting an automated reply. I've sent the form on safari and chrome, but nothing comes back. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. Thank you for any help you can give with this.
