Wow, the chipotle chicken was amazing!! Recommend trying it if you like stuff like pulled pork etc... Recipe below if anyone fancies it:D

Pulled Chipotle Chicken buns - serves 4 (3 syns)

3 chicken breasts (I used 2 big uns)
    4 tbsp. ketchup
    2 tbsp. cider vinegar
    1 tbsp mustard powder
1 tsp black treacle (I used dark brown sugar)
    2 tsp paprika
    1 tbsp. chipotle paste
    2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    salt and pepper to season
Serve in a wholemeal roll (heb or additional 6 syns)

I chucked it all in the slow cooker and cooked on low for 6 hours, took the chicken out, shredded it and added it back into the sauce.

yum yum in my tum :rotfl::rotfl:

e.t.a musogirl used tomato puree in place of the ketchup which would reduce the syns per portion, just add a bit of water if the sauce looks a bit thick

  • Yay! Thanks for SOTW and well done to b17c!

May have undone it today though. Had a giant chocolate flapjack in cafe. I reckon it was probably about 20-25 syns! First time in 5 weeks I've gone more than 1 or 2 over. Been quite good rest of day though.

    Menu:

    B- activia, banana, clementine
    S- the aforementioned flapjack!
L- veg soup, wm roll (heb)
D- beef stew, ff Greek yoghurt, blueberries
