Good Morning
Well done to all the losers some good loses being posted :T:T:T0 -
Morning all
Thanks for the chart Shala and well done B17c and Musogirl for SOTW. :T
Super free (SF) is a term that used to be used by SW in the past, however they dropped it at the beginning of this year when they created a list of Speed fruit and veg, which doesn't include pineapple unfortunately. There's a link to the list on the first post.
Beg - hope you enjoy the film. That one came out too late for me - I do miss going to the cinema when we're here ( and Meerkat Movies).
You're not imagining it, I changed to Monday WIs so I didn't miss the first week of the challenge. Keep up Tweets!
I'm a golf widow today and I'm planning to go for a swim later. I used to swim a lot but stopped last year because my knee was so painful. It's a lot better than it was so I'm hoping I can start going again.
Have a good day everyone.
LL
Good Morning Lois Lane
I try and keep up but forget what I read:cool: :rotfl::rotfl:
I am all ready for Christmas :xmastree: got and wrapped all my presents :xmastree::rudolf::xmassmile:xmassign::santa2: :snow_grin:snow_laug
Only have 3 people to buy for Poppy , DS and mum0 -
Morning,
I wish it had been Audits Maman, one of our Directors passed away on Friday morning after a short illness so we were closed yesterday and I was at the funeral etc yesterday.
I have been very very naughty since Friday and I am properly annoyed and disgusted with myself. I know what I want I just can't seem to get myself there at the minute. I seem to manage 3 or 4 days of being good every week and then something seems to throw me off on a binge.
I'm really cross with myself and fed up today.
Anyway there's only one person can do anything about this and that's me and I've got to. I feel horrible in all of my clothes right now, my coats Beanie are not fitting great either.
I'm going home tonight to make some sweet potato and BNS Soup and tomorrow I will be going to the gym after work. A couple of days of being back on track and I'll be feeling good again. I am not doing this to myself again this week /weekend as I feel awful
B17 Really sorry to hear about your gran, prayers for you both xx0 -
As Lois said, pineapple is no longer on the speed (formerly superfree) list. Neither are blueberries which surprised me because every other "diet" recommends them. I'm guessing the sugar content is too high for SW to consider them under their new rules.
Today...
Breakfast - Weetabix (HEB1 + 1/2 HEA milk) with summer fruits mix
Lunch - Leftover bolognese with 1/2 HEA cheese
Dinner - Chicken and veggies
Snack - HiFi Lights (HEB2)
I have half a butternut squash to use up so may test that on DH tonight - usually have it when it's just me. He does like sweet potato and it's a similar taste, so hoping he likes it!0 -
Good morning everyone. Well done to all you losers for those who are having a wobble don't worry we've all been there. Although I don't post everyday, I do read all the advice. It's been a couple of years since I attended a class, so I am using the old literature and trying to tweak to take into account all the new changes. TBH if it worked before then unless you go massively off piste then it should work going forward. Although I do appreciate there have been changes.
I do find this thread very helpful as I don't have that fear factor that you get when you weigh in at class, so having to weigh and then report the loss on the thread has elements of the same trepidation!
Good news this week Shala -3.5lbs off for me!!!.
This is the best week so far for me, so really pleased.

Well done B17C and MUSOGIRL, our joint SOTW. Great losses both of you.
Shala that chipotle chicken sounds lovely. Might have to buy some chipotle paste and try that!
EE day for me today:
B - toasted bacon & mushroom sandwich with low sugar brown sauce (HEB + 4.5 - for butter & sauce)
L - LO quiche, lettuce, cucumber, spring onions, beetroot, tomato, pickled onions, cornichons.
D - Chilli Squid; Spicy rice with brocolli
HEA - 300ml 1% milk
HEB - bread
Syns - 2 tsp butter 4; 1Tbs brown sauce 0.5. Not sure what else yet but maybe a fruit split lolly and/or a crispbread or 2.
I'm with you Candyapple with the 1% milk. That 50 ml makes all the difference. I don't NEED to drink black coffee during the day because I don't want to run out at night when I don't like drinking it, which is what I was doing before this week.
Denise
PS Shala - are you going to add the chipotle chicken dish to the recipe list? It doesn't seem to be there and would be nice to be able to find it again later!0 -
Morning all!! Sorry I've been MIA. Been concentrating on my recovery so I can get back to work tomorrow. Went to group last night and after last weeks 3lb gain I'm delighted to say can you add -3lb for me please Shala
Well done to the SOTW!
Some cracking losses coming in. Well done to all. Sorry to hear about your news TIE sending positive wishes your way.
Keep plodding along to those struggling. I had 5 pages to read back so haven't time to mention you all personally.
Feeling motivated for the week ahead. If I can lose 1lb next week I will get my stone award so thats what I'm aiming towards.
Hope everyone is ok this week.
My plan for today is:
Breakfast: Apple, satsuma and some grapes
Lunch: Fried egg, sw chips and beetroot (gotta get some speed in somewhere)
Tea: Jacket potatoes with beans and cheese (HEA)
Snacks: 2 hi-fi bars (HEB), more fruit and a curly wurly

Grocery challenge 2017 JAN: £5.56/£3500 -
Well done to all the users and keep going to all those who are struggling or going through a difficult time atm.
JoeDenise - your menu is fantastic, you are doing SW in style!
Woke up starving at 3 in the morning! Had to go downstairs and have an apple and a drink.
Today is a stressful day at work...stress usually makes me eat so I am going to have to dig my heels in and persevere. Im feeling a lot slimmer so need to focus on that rather than the temporary high food gives me.
Today's Menu
B: 2 Linda McCartney Red Onion Sausages, Scrambled eggs with 1/2 HeA Cheese. 1 tbsp Tomato Sauce (0.5). 1 tsp sugar in coffee (1)
L: (Main meal) Savoury Chicken and Vegetable Rice with Stir Fry Veg - no sync as all made with spray oil.Honey Roast Turkey, Red Onion and Tomato Sandwich (HeB) (1.5 Lurpak lighter), Skips (4), Fruit and Mullerlight.
Snack: White Chocolate Cookie (4.5)
11.5 syns for the day.0 -
:T some great losses since I posted yesterday. Well done all of you!!TBH if it worked before then unless you go massively off piste then it should work going forward. Although I do appreciate there have been changes.
I think you're right but, for me, it makes me think twice. So, I know grapes are free so no problem eating them but feel much more pleased with myself if I have an apple or a Satsuma.Shala that chipotle chicken sounds lovely. Might have to buy some chipotle paste and try that!
I thought just the same. I did a bit of googling and it seems Santa Maria brand in Waitrose is better value than own brand???
I saw Nigella cooking squid last night. She did it with orzo in a dish that looked similar to paella/jambalaya. I don't fancy it myself and was wondering whether I could adapt to use chicken or just plain fish.
Good idea to plan your food and include a good breakfast if you've got a stressful day ahead missindependent (do you have a shorter name??:D). Remember you'll feel better for having coped with the day than any instant pleasure from eating rubbish.
Shame you had a bad few days lantanna. It really is worth persevering (but you know that:A) because when you're back at target eating well for 4 days and a bit off for 3 will probably keep you there.
I've got a pub meal this evening. Checked to see if JPs might have reappeared with winter menu but no luck so it'll have to be chips!:D
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Grapefruit, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, baked beans
L: ham with LO vegsteak, salad, chips
Syns: chips, wine syns:o0 -
Two NSVs for the day - the first is minor, but got into a top I couldn't a month ago. I've been between sizes for ages, think I'm just on the verge of being comfortably in the lower size. But more importantly, spoke to my doctor this morning as I had updated blood tests for everything done about a week ago. He got the results back and everything is normal! And he was very pleased with the weight loss so far. :money:0
