  • Just to say I've not given up already :o My head just hasn't been in the right place for writing posts. Grief is a very new experience to me and I'm having a tough week. My dad has been in my thoughts a lot and his last days are playing on my mind. Those are the times when I'm at my weakest but I feel proud to say that I've been really good foodwise the last 2 days. Kind of stuck to low cal just because I know what I'm doing there & it's a start. I've lost 1kg (2 pounds?) of what I put on so far :) only 7 more to go!

So am struggling with breakfast. I always have 30g swiss muesli (no added sugar), with 100ml of semi-milk and a banana. OH always has 30g cheerios, 100ml of semi-milk and a banana. Can we continue to have this on Slimming World?

Did scrambled egg with ham & tomato for lunch and then roast potatoes, mixed veg and roast chicken for dinner. All low calorie and fulling but no clue how it fits into Slimming World? :o

beanielou just wanted to thank you again for your kind offer. It means so much to me :)

  • :exclamati: Quick question, if I may? I was going through last week's diary making sure I'd not miscounted anything, given my unexpected gain this week.

    Pineapple...

Is it just Free food, or is it Superfree?? :undecided:

Only, I've just spotted in the copy of the plan I get with my online membership, it doesn't have an "S" symbol by it.

Sure it always used to be Superfree? Does anyone know if there's a printing error, or whether they've decided pineapple should join bananas and mango?

Hugs, {{TheBlackRose.}}. Such a difficult time for you xx You're doing well to keep your eating under control.

Re the muesli, it probably isn't too far away from a Healthy Extra B choice. You can have 35g of Jordan's no added sugar muesli. What brand are you eating? Cheerios aren't a Healthy Extra B, I'm afraid - they're 4.5 syns for 25g. As for the rest, sounds pretty good, but you may need to add a few syns for fat if you used any for the egg and tomato (frylight is free :)) and added fat to the roast potatoes. I do my roasties in frylight, so they're free. :)

Tulip, well done on the stone! :T

Sorry, Denise. I just didn’t think that ‘syboes’ was a particularly Scots word. See when you’ve known a word your whole life …… And it’s quicker to write than ‘spring onions’, lol. I hadn’t heard ‘shibbons’ before, maman. I love the different words there are around the country.

Well done for the losses, of all different sizes, beanie, Sandhy, TIE, Muso, june, Kaz, miss_independent, queen , eskimo, Rebster, b_e_g, Tulip and B17c.

STS again for me, shala. I know where it all went wrong – a good start to the week outweighed (see what I did there?) by 3 days of overindulgence. Not going to be much better this week either. DGD’s birthday tomorrow, out for lunch on Friday and then away Friday to Sunday. And I’ve just eaten a cream scone. Where’s that pokey stick?

Hello, theblackrose, pull up a chair, grab a cuppa and chip in whenever you like.

Sorry to hear your gran’s bad news, B17C.

    Congrats SOTWs, B17C and muso.

Super free (SF) is a term that used to be used by SW in the past, however they dropped it at the beginning of this year when they created a list of Speed fruit and veg, which doesn't include pineapple unfortunately. There's a link to the list on the first post.

Beg - hope you enjoy the film. That one came out too late for me - I do miss going to the cinema when we're here ( and Meerkat Movies :D).

Because the challenge now runs Sunday to Sunday so I've got everyone's results by today.. thought i'd posted about it but I can't find it.. maybe I thought it but forgot to say it :rotfl:

I'll change the first challenge post to say Monday...

You're not imagining it, I changed to Monday WIs so I didn't miss the first week of the challenge. Keep up Tweets! ;)

I'm a golf widow today and I'm planning to go for a swim later. I used to swim a lot but stopped last year because my knee was so painful. It's a lot better than it was so I'm hoping I can start going again.

    Have a good day everyone.
