Finally recieved our offer yesterday. Text about 4.45pm, saw our broker yesterday evening who had a copy of it all. Such a relief, after waiting nearly a month. Good luck to all those waiting too!0

I have told Nationwide to shove it, and I am now going through another lender. Spoke to them this morning and they had put all of my childcare information in incorrectly, they hadn't taken into account my bonus/commission correctly and it would be another 5-7 days before they would get looked at again by the underwriters so I have canceled the whole lot with them.
I wouldn't recommend them to anyone at all! Absolute joke!!!0 -
I submitted my application online last Saturday 24/10
26/10 A valuation for my mortgage application booked
27/10 They received the valuation report and they will review it in the next 2 days
29/10 Underwriting team is assessing my documents
I don't know for how long I need to wait.
Good luck to everyone else.

Despite all the problems and issues, our last six Nationwide cases;-
19/10/15 application - 30/10/15 offer issued (11 days)
13/10/15 application - 29/10/15 valuation done, offer awaited
08/10/15 application - 12/10/15 offer issued (4 days)
07/10/15 application - 17/10/15 offer issued (10 days)
29/09/15 application - 14/10/15 offer issued (15 days)
29/09/15 application - 06/10/15 offer issued (7 days).
The sixteen day wait to get the valuation done on the second case is skewing things, but on the whole Nationwide broker service is holding up for us.I am a mortgage broker. Any self employed amongst them Kingstreet.?0 -
Going with TSB now. Offering the same rate as Nationwide were but with £250 cashback (although this is cancelled out effectively by the higher valuation fee).
AIP was submitted, answer straight away and full application was submitted this afternoon with the docs the required. Only asking for last 3 months payslips at the moment but sure that will change.0 -
Makeitstop - my husband is self employed, I'm part time and we have adverse credit. Our turn around from application to mortgage offer was a month.0
