  • Hi caffinebassman,

Unfortunately, I don't have the access to that information on your account so I wouldn't be unable to advise you on why it has been flagged up in our weekly compliance checks. Please don't worry though, if you can get back to the compliance team they can talk you through the process. Do be assured this will not happen each time you purchase through Quidco, we'll put a note on your account so that it doesn't happen again. It's quite normal, for example with business purchases when people are making frequent flights and hotel transactions.

I hope this has helped reassured you a little, our compliance team can give you a much better idea of why this may have happened on your account.

    Thanks,

    Emma :)

    Hi Emma,

Thanks for the reply. I am still a little concerned. I have asked for an explanation twice and I have submitted my information at the weekend. No reply to either and my account is still blocked.

In particular, these are my first ever 2 purchases and are not business purchases - so I don't see why it fits into "business purchases when people are making frequent flights and hotel transactions".

    Thankyou

Hilton are an absolute joke pulling a fast one on the advertised deal of 12% on all The Great Getaway rooms over the summer. I booked 12 nights with the code and had my cashback declined citing that I did not use the correct code, but yet I used the link on Quidco and copied and pasted the stated the code. Furthermore my email confirmation even states Rate - The Great Getaway, how did I get the rate if I did not use the code.

Quidco will not persue Hilton any longer as the decision is final they say. What a joke.

Same problem with me. Cashback claim declined despite going through main site with cleared browser. Notice Hilton are no longer giving cashback.

Any background from the Quidco rep as to what's gone wrong here?

    Hi @ceminem and @superpacman1972

Thanks for getting in touch, we did have a response from Hilton that a number of customers hadn't used the correct code when making this purchase, but if you contact the support team, they will be able to help you with your account, unfortunately we cannot see the details of your Quidco purchase via MSE.

    Hi @prowla

The number of retailers that are wishing to participate in checks ins is falling unfortunately, this is due to a lot of them wanting to offer instore cashback, so keep your eyes peeled, there may be a chance for you to earn more cashback by making your purchases on the high street.

    Many thanks,

    Leanne :)

I have had my cash back declined as they have no record of my purchase but it is there to plainly see in my account section. I think it is time to join TCB

I am having huge issues with Quidco - they keep telling me they have paid me funds which is not hitting my Bank account - I did a Post Office credit card which earned me £26.50. They now tell me that the monies will have 'bounced back' and it will take another 30 days - even if a wrong account number is input, it bounces back in three days via BACs. I have had my Bank account many years, it has my wages go in and I check it every days - they are blaming issues with the bank account yet haven't confirmed what account they sent it to. I just seem to going around in circles - despite comments on here - it certainly doesn't seem like the customer is top priority!

I also got a travel policy in summer which they say will take 6 months for the £8 reward to come through. To be honest it is more hassle than its worth

Oh well, I guess there's no such thing as a free meal then (though I've just had a bacon buttie which I brought home from leftovers after a meeting yesterday, so maybe there is!).

I thought the idea of the check-ins was to encourage you to visit the high street, whereas tying things to making purchases doesn't really, as you'll generally find that you can get them cheaper online.

I suppose though that it's difficult for the retailers to gauge whether or not the check-ins are a benefit to them.
