Mags cat it is huge!!
Saw you was doing it a few pages back and thought it extraordinary
then,but hadn't grasped its size.
It's going to be magnificent x
I forget how huge it is most of the time because the fabric is rolled up and taped out of the way on the frame.
It's only when I take it off for a progress shot that I'm reminded.
Mad. I must be mad :rotfl:0 -
Hi ladies.
Apologies in advance yet again for going over old postsI do read everyday but don't seem to get round to posting much.
BEG. Love the 12 days of christmas finish, look forward to seeing it framed. The wine cushion is lovely all made up!
JCS. The cats are adorable! They are very nice looking cats, all of them beautiful.
Nice progress on the birth sampler, it's already looking cute!
MOS. Glad you got the caravan design you wanted, look forward to seeing progress pics.
Firefly. Congrats on your baby newsLovely anniversary finish and look forward to updates of the birth sampler.
Skintchick. Lovely NY design, it's coming along great.
Sweetcarer. Very nice progress on both of your WIPs.
Ems. Pirate ship is coming along great, look forward to seeing more updates.
FOS. Look forward to seeing your 2 UFOs finished.
FabB. As you can see from replies so far, choosing where to start stitching a design is very much personal preference. I'm in the start from the centre camp because if I started from an edge or corner, no matter how many times I counted I would still probably end up running out of fabric!
Nmm. Nice update, is that as far down as the design goes?
Mags. Very nice update. I had to chuckle to myself at reading what you said....
This one just makes me faintly hysterical...look at the size of the fabric! That's on a king size bedspread, for reference :rotfl::heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
As my last post was quite long I thought I'd better post my updates in a new post.
Santa and Snowman are 99% finished, just need beads when I am next near HC.
All x's done and before backstitch,
Backstitch all done,
Must admit I am really pleased with how it's turned out, especially the detail in Santas face. Even though I know the fine detail is in the backstitch I did wonder if it was going to end up looking like how I know it was meant to
Will post a final pic once I have bought and attached the beads.
Next I am doing a design called Walking in the Rose Garden.
I was going to start another xmas design but when I went through my stash I fancied this one.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
