Sorry I was just sounding off at the complete rubbish service that Vodafone offer for the service that I require.
The device is locked to Vodafone as I have tried another SIM in it and it comes up with a error. May venture out to local market to seek a unlocking merchant....anyone used a one online that is good ?
Have you tried the one to which I have linked? You are really making hard work out of this. I bought mine and unlocked it the same day. Entered every APN and profile that I was likely to use. Job done.
Stop faffing around and get it done.0 -

Have you clicked through my link and ordered the 99p code?0 -
I did email the seller of the item you refer to and asked how long they can respond with a code...No response yet0

At 69p per MB that would be £17.25 for another 25MB and that is just one day.
A local Carrefour mobile broadband SIM costs 10€ and come with four days of unlimited access.
Unlocking, perhaps a pound. Even if you pay a fiver to unlock it's still worth it.
Put your thinking cap back on.
Have you tried another SIM and APN to check if it's locked?
Just a quick calculation...
Had my nexus & on for several hours today playing digital radio via tune in radio and the App has used 359mb
So does this mean if I was abroad this would be about £250 quids worth ?

Vodafone would cut you off at the EU limit. So no more Internet after day one unless you remove the cap.Spending cap on using mobile internet overseas
We want to help you have greater control over how much you spend when you're using mobile internet when you're overseas.
Unless you have opted out of the cap, we'll cap your monthly mobile internet spending at €50 (£41.47) both in our Europe Zone and our Rest of World Zone.
We'll send you notifications when you have reached 80% and 100% of your allowance.
When you've reached the spending cap, you won't be able to use mobile internet abroad for the rest of the month - unless you choose to opt out.
How can I opt out of the spending cap?
You can opt out at any time by:
Texting STOP to 40209
Contacting Customer Services
Can I opt back in to the spending cap?
You can opt in again at any time by:
Texting START to 4020
I guess you've changed your mind about the Vodafone UK SIM now. So get the thing unlocked and stop faffing around.0 -

The turnaround time is on the website . Really, what's the matter with you? It's less than £1.
Are you leaving tomorrow? Is there a reason for all of this messing around? Just get on with it.0 -
unlocking is done.
Any apps to help with profile management ?0 -

If a dial number is needed, it is often *99#. If not, *99***1#
Whichever SIM you use in the end, you may then have to then select the Profile that you entered earlier, then to choose Set Default(or similar).
More here if necessary.
What made you go for the R205, did you find it cheap somewhere?0 -
thanks for that info very good.
I bought the R205 from a Vodafone store on PAYG and have been quite happy with it over the past 8 or so months.
Just was looking to unlock it and use a Local Spanish sim when I get there, as when I was in Turkey last year I got stung a bit with charges0
