Bossy, big hugs for you for today - you are doing so well with everything (((hug))).

MrsMP there's been chicken pox at Juniors but not at Infants which is a shame cos DS still hasn't had it (he's 6). As for the sickness, don't want that! My sister's a teacher and used to get everything going but I think now her immune system is pretty good and, touch wood, she rarely succumbs to all the nasties. Think a mask is a good idea :)!!

Maisie, no snow here much to the children's disappointment. They got excited when they heard snow was around but we've escaped it. Sounds lovely DS sleeping on you in the afternoon - I used to love it when mine did that. Treasure it because they grow up so quickly and the housework will always be there.

Dusty sorry you have a sick little one :( - hope s/he recovers quickly

My list isn't pretty cos I skived off yesterday but here goes - got a lot of typing on there but think it's mainly small jobs (or hope so):

Monday Madness - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One

    Clean floors in these rooms
    Level Two
Clean baths, toilets, don't forget under the rim! and sinks
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Level Three Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins! (the proper bins not the rooms that look like bins!)
Clear a mega hotspot!.. shred it.. and fling it.. or just burn it!

Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining Mess
    Level One

    Sweep, vacuum and mop floors
    Declutter and wipe work surfaces
    Shine that stinky sink
    Level Two
Wipe table replacing cloth if necessary.. I want to see pretty tables piles of mail and pens and goodness knows what else has to go!
Clear out a cupboard.. The one with baking supplies or the one with pans and plastic boxes.. GO!! Or you could, if you have one, clear the pantry!
Wipe and replace small appliances.. Clean one thoroughly!
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
    Level Three
    Wipe units and large appliances

Wipe the insides of all the cupboard doors!
Dejunk window sills and clean windows.

    Extra Mission

Empty the cutlery drawer.. clean it out, wash the cutlery tray, chuck those baby spoons you don't use any more.. how many medicine spoons do you actually need? get rid of everything you don't use and make the drawer look nice again

    My jobs:
    Typing x 6
    Walk Pip
    WM – lights
Paul – party wall work (Hounslow)
    E-mail Nancy

Here's a thing - posted on techie forum - my tv DVD combi isn't working. Well, just the DVD bit, it says invalid disc. The discs work fine in the other machine. I've cleaned lens with one of those DVD things and blasted it with the hair dryer on cool, in case of dust. Any other suggestions?

I had this problem bossy with DD's combi tv (from Mr T) and it was something to do with changing the regional settings from region 1 to region 2 or something or from PAL to NSCT (or something like that) sorry I am not much use but our DVD also worked in stand alone DVD player, may save you forking our for a new one. Valli gave you sound advice & I hope you manage to get through today ok :A

    Morning all :D

    Bossymoo ((hug))

Hugs, sticks, spoons, anti-sick vibes a plenty for all :D

DD has gone off to school in my warm hat as we keep having hailstones here so I'm not planning on going over the frontdoor step today :p I'm cold enough as it is, and none of the other hats fit me unless I borrow DD's wolf one with built in gloves and I don't think either of us would want that :rotfl::rotfl:

Finances updated, WMx1, breakfast done, email sorted, now I guess I should get on with something either off the list or some of the ironing. I'll just finish my hot choc which is defrosting my hands and then get wriggling. ;)

    Everyone fed and watered.

    Anyone up for HHC 10:15-10:45?

I have 6 piles of the teeny pinks washing to put away and don't want to do it on my own.

Bossy, Mini-bossys and bossy-in-laws.. you are all in my thoughts today.. I hope you can all find comfort together today and remember the amazing man he was. I have bossed OH to light a candle for you all and DH and also LL and our bestest Diva and MLB (another flylady who sadly passed away a couple of years ago..) and AnWnMum and Deco and Toots and LW.. Gosh there are so many amazing flyladies on here past and present.. it is quite humbling to see how you all battle on when I am moaning about putting away the laundry and having to take Tiddles glasses to be fixed already!

I think we should designate a 'no moaning' day as a sign of support to these amazing people!

Aww sorry to hear that :( it's just so unreal, then sneaks in and bites me on the bum.

I found that too, he passed almost 3 years ago so have learnt how to deal with it or I think I know how to deal with it. I found the first birthday after he passed the hardest as it took a while for me to get my head round/accept that he was never going to be 37.

Be kind to yourself today (((hugs)))

So pleased it's kitchen today... it needs it :o
  • just back read so with a huge lump to my throat sending hugs to Bossy the little ones and the inlaws today,
what valli said made perfect sense be gentle on yourself today bossy and do whatever you want to do to get through it.
hope little ones enjoy the swim and i hope he had a lovely dream of pirates and treasure and jellyfish.

I agree, good wishes to Bossy and family.

Have done very little flying so far this morning but as it's a gorgeous sunny day I went for a lovely long walk down by the river with a couple of friends which was really cold but very enjoyable; good for the spirit :) Got home and had coffee and toast, done some Internet browsing but need to get on and do some flying... HHC anyone?
  • just off phone to mum, not going over to see her at weekend as dont want to risk passing lurgs on to (pregnant)SIL or little niece - does give me longer to fnish nieces cross stitch.

off on a tangent -its sort of table clearing but im now framing mums mothers day pressie. Then i can stash it in the pressie cupboard instead of leaving it on the table to remind me its not finished.
