Yes, I have a 9.9% APR.0

I think for that card yes, 9.9% is the lowest. Nationwide Select I think you can get low 7's but that is for existing customers.0

To what? You can get anything between 9.9 to 19.9% APR at the moment.0

It seems that in general HSBC search Experian but John Lewis HSBC search Equifax, this is definitely true in my case.

This may be off topic, and indeed may have been covered, but rather than search a new thread I wondered if there is a known problem transferring from Nationwide to Barclaycard Mastercard?
It was only a small transfer (£150) but when I clicked the drop down window and picked the relevant card (it even said that the card should start 53012, which mine does) and tried to transfer it told me that the number does not match the card of the relevant provider.
I checked and checked again and the 16 digit number was correct. The card is valid and operational.
I've sent a message, but as the promised response time is within two days I thought I'd try here as well.
Thank you:)0 -
Hi all,
I've read the entire thread and there doesn't appear to be a hard and fast consensus, but I was accepted in principle for a NW CC with £4500 limit @ 19.9% APR. The offer seemed subject to providing proof of ID. I have my mortgage with them so this struck me as a bit strange. I applied on Monday and have had no communication from them yet but didn't expect this until next week. The reason for the post is to find out what happened to anyone else in a similar situation? The nearest NW branch is a bit of a trek for me so hoping I can just send stuff to them!
Thanks.0 -
Monday as in the 15th? Give it 7 to 10 days at least, I know this is what you have pretty much said but it's too soon to start saying you've been declined or some other reasoning.0

Thanks Rich... Yes the 15th. Sorry my query wasn't too clear reading it back. I'm more interested in people's experiences of providing proof of ID. My nearest NW branch is quite tricky to get to so I am hoping that I can post proof instead as i'm already a mortgage customer. Not sure if anyone else has had to do this?0
