DD to my CC today gives:
#084 £9251 / £58000
Things have really slowed because last month I gained an extra debt (essential purchase for DS's health) which means the paying of DH's CC is not going fast enough!! I want to get to £10000 before next payday (25th) so fingers crossed my tax rebate gets here soon. I also want to get to £11.5k (this or hereabouts will take me to 20% paid off) after the next round of paydays (6th July). Watch this space...DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
Humph my payment hasn't gone out, I'm owed £300 from social services and £130 from my parent and we have naff all money, got no bread no milk and grrrr!

Ahh Kerfuffle your still over a quarter of the way there! Thats HUGE!! :j :j just think where that £3k would have gone instead if you hadnt been smashing your debts. BoMaD is always the best people to bank with
no interest and no demanding letters when your having a bad month. It will go in time
Spagbol, sometimes we have no choice but to pop the debt busting on a slower track. I just spent £2k on a car for DH which most outsiders would say wasn't neccessary in th slightest, but with his arthristis he isnt safe on his bike and needs to work. Something that is needed for your family members health is MUCH more important than being debt free a few months earlier. I am all ready with my jumping blob :j to cheer your £10k paid off
Hoping your money goes in tomorrow Nicholewild, as much as I hate to use this solution, is there anyone you could borrow £2 off for some bread and milk?SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10000 -
Gosh I feel terrible with my money at the moment. I've been putting my expenses on my credit card and have a whole pile of money in my bank account to pay off the credit card with, but it's made me think I'm more in debt than I actually am.....even though the real money offsets the pretend money....weirdest feeling ever. I cannot wait until I have enough money saved in my bank account to be able to have the equivalent of my credit card x2, then I can cancel the dratted thing.

Ooh thanks for that, reminded me I need to ring Southern Electric today as I lost my postal letter in the house move to sort my online log in so I've not been able to do our meter readings.
Feeling sorry for myself as I burnt my arm last night on the oven (only a little but still) It went under the cold tap and then I had a cold flannel on it for ages and I put aloe vera gel on it but I'm not sure if I've done the right thing. Ah well, I'm impatient we shall see, I'm sure it'll be fine.

I like the drinking blob too :beer::beer::beer:
It is an essential purchase so I don't mind but it's sitting on my CC winking at me!! I know what you mean though, family comes first, hope the car is better for your H's wellbeing
Kerri I do that anyway regularly and last week did my car insurance and water and gas/electric reviewed recently but will give it another go!DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
Arghhhh! Why is it I am so savvy with money yet had no clue you cannot use your no claims on 2 cars??? Just spoke to DH's insurance company who were chasing proof an said 'oo can I email you a copy of the other insurance?' umm no would be the answer, you cant use that no claims on another car at the same time
So the poor bloke is now running round trying to find another insurance and possibly make me the main driver of the second car (though I also have no no claims as ive been on DH's insurance for 10 years ) and im assuming im going to get a cancellation fee off the insurer he's with
On a more interesting and happier note, DD has just run in to me with a piece of paper thats shes written A N N A on and gone 'look mummy, that says Anna' not bad for 4 1/2 that hasnt started school yetMost kids start with C A T, but not my brainiac, we'll just go straight for names tyvm :rotfl:

Morning all,
Well put money in the bank. Went to a Jubilee party yesterday and drunk far too much.
Woken up to the worse email ever telling me that my brother is more useless then I realised. We are waiting on a house sale going through and he's now holding up to paperwork at his end.
So that was a 10 minute conversation with him this morning! Think I got through to him but we will see!
So another quick update:
No 149 New update: Total paid off £8.247.60 total paid off is 57.84%0 -
I wasn't going to post until tomorrow but I'm so exctied I couldn't wait!
Last Friday I decided to have a go at this ebay thingy that everyone's been advising me to use! Well.... last night I sold a set of old golf clubs that have been sitting around at my mums for years.. and got £60!!
I can see myself getting very addicted to this! I'm already on the hunt at home to see what I can sell next!
Also... my sister is at the hospital, I am waiting for the news that her little bundle of joy has been delivered successfully!!
