actually i was replying to other people who were asking why comps get moved, so your replying to the wrong person here :cool:

the question of why they are moved on the day they end does come up repeatedly, asked by varying people, usually when they are in the middle of entering those that end today only to find they have been moved to game over even though they are still valid and have not yet ended in a lot of cases (like the E: 07 that you say you have just moved now)

or when it comes to one day only comps that get moved an hour after they are posted

i think you will find that i do ignore old comps still being there.... once i posted on here asking for another bg to move them because it had been 4 days since any had been done.

it wasnt only a reply to you, but others who have asked as well. I replied to you direct on the first point as i have noticed a few barbed comments from yourself on this thread when people have asked. There is no need for you to reply to people saying well diva moves them so you will have to take it up with her.

you could simply reply that Bg's have a real life and we all work full/part time so they are moved when time permits.

I am not going to comment anymore on this issue, as it will just get silly, and im sorry if you felt i was picking on you in specific.

but that doesnt explain why eg E: 07 had to be moved this morning and could not wait until next time you are moving comps, be that tomorrow or in a day or two...which is the repeated question:cool:

Hi guys

I need to ask everyone to calm down and chill out a bit.

This is a board for helping people out with competitions, something that's supposed to be fun, not serious. There's really no need for any issues to come up on here at all and I'd ask anyone that's getting stressed to perhaps take some time out and come back when they've calmed down.

I'll get to the things you've been asking for when I have time to wade through the PMs and emails and work out exactly what it is some people are asking for but in the meantime, let's just make up and get on with comping.

PS. We've suggested BGs wait until a comp has finished before moving them but please don't make any comments if there are ended comps that haven't been moved. It's actually not something we've ever asked BGs to do and they don't have to do it at all. They actually only do it because they chose to in the first place. Whether that's created the rod for their own backs I don't know but please don't expect them to do it. If they do it at all, please consider it a bonus.
