It seems they are a bit like "My Offers".When Dennis put these type of comps on I've decided not to post them.The same applies to the Scottish Power comps.Just my view & if someone wishes to post them I have no issues with them doing so.

I don't want to upset anyone and I realise this will get moved after a while but I have to say this

Can I ask that people don't bump threads that involve Facebook 'likes' to say how many likes the page has reached please?

Some people work through the board back to front and comps that are continually bumped to update on how many likes the page has reached, don't give those still further down the board chance to enter.

Bumping these comps doesn't serve any useful purpose in my opinion (and I accept it is only my opinion). I'd post this on said threads, but of course that would mean bumping them

I think there should be a comp section for social network comps only!

Can i add a little moan as well - if possible could people add blog into the title of those comps please (like they add a FB or email) - i dont enter these as i dont like to follow blogs and it is annoying to go into a post and find its a blog and ive wasted my time.

Yeah, I totally agree with that. I don't follow blogs either so it is a waste of time to open the thread only to find it's a blog comp.
Having 'Blog' in the title would be a huge help. :T

Hi apologies i might have done one of these there was a comp that gave a prize up to 20000 votes and then up to 40000 i think, so when i saw it was passed 20 i put a comment on,thought it would be helpful, so will that have bumped it? and does that mean it moves it to the top of the comp list, so sorry with another question, but will adding this comment bump this one?
No offence taken, happy to learn how forums work best for everyone.

You don't have to apologise. I just wanted to bring it to people's attention really. Whenever someone comments on a thread it bumps it straight to the top of the front page

It doesn't matter about bumping this one because it's just a discussion and will get moved to the 'discussions' thread soon anyway.

I think for some it can be quite confusing. I know when i joined it was, but quickly got the hang of it...worst one is when ppl just say "thanks" and bump it from weeks ago!

So so rude 3rd poster up! No need at all....some folk just love to hide behind a screen don't they ( he that protest too much and all that)

I agree pkc it would be much easier with fb comps elsewhere....they seem to be taking over the forum xxx
