I think this is what I've packed in my hospital bag. I'll add anything I've forgotten:
For me:
2 nighties (buttons at front for breast feeding)
2 pyjamas (buttons at front for breast feeding)
1 light dressing gown
1 pair slippers
Socks to wear in labour to keep feet warm
2 nursing bras
10 pairs dark coloured big knickers (a lot I know, but it was 2 packs)
2 packs maternity pads
2 packs breast pads
Lanisoh cream
2 large dark coloured bath towels
Toiletries (minatures) & hair brush & elastics
Tea trea & Lavender essential oils for bath post birth
Arnica tablets
Camera & spare batteries
Phone charger
Snacks
Change for vending machines and parking
Loose going home clothes
Ear plugs (for pre birth!)
Paracetomol (in case MW too busy to dole out).
For baby:
6 vests
6 sleepsuits
1 pack newborn nappies
Scratch mitts
Booties
Hat
Wipes (sample size pack)
Cotton wool
Nappy cream (free sample size)
Baby bath & shampoo
Towel for baby
Blanket
Snowsuit
For DH

Would it be worth writing up a hospital bag list that covers all eventualities (inc long stay and FF, just incase) and then linking it to the EDD list? That way we can always have access to a comprehensive list. Just a thought.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

Good idea. I'll let a more technically minded person do that. I hope to BF, so haven't included any stuff for FF above.
Someone had suggested one bag for you, one for baby and a bag of everything you can't fit and won't need until after the baby is born in the boot of the car, to be brought in when needed. I've done this and found it very helpful. Baby's bag is just the free Boots changing bag and baby blankets/snowsuit are in the overspill bag left in the car boot.0 -
Hello ladies. Just wondered if anyone had used Kiddicare? I have seen a pram that I really like and it is a fraction of the cost that I was going to shell out for a Silver Cross, but OH is a bit worried because we cant go and try it out first before we buy? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,

I used Kiddicare before and when the buggy arrived I had changed my mind about it. I returned it and received a quick refund (minus delivery charge).0 -
