  • I've made 12 of flourgirl's boxes today. Just need to fill them and wrap with cellophane.

I bought some christmas foam stickers from Baker Ross - 144 for £3.99 (Postage is a bit steep at £3.95 but I did a joint order with my sister) and think they make lovely embellisments :)

Oh my life ..... it takes me ages now to catch up with this thread now it moves so quickly!!!

To be honest I haven't had much time to post as I must have sent out at least 50 humbug and 50 snowman soup files out so far ....!!! But its so great that everyone is being so crafty xxxx

    Washing Up Kebabs!

This is an idea ...... not my own I got it from this Fairy Liquid ad (below)

I used a bamboo kebab skewer on mine, but I think the metal skewer in the add looks better.

I went to Poundland and bought an assortment of washing up stuff, brillo pads, etc

Might be something that could sell at a Christmas Fayre ..... cleverer people than I could think of a really witty name for them

Would be an excellent present for Dads - for after Christmas Dinner!!!!!!!!!!

How about 'After Plates, the After Dinner Hint!':rotfl:

    Hi everyone,

I have been enthralled with your thread for months now and confess to having used some of your ideas for Halloween.

I also made some lollipop spiders, half of which I sold but I have quite a few left and so I need to use them up somehow.

I have some Christmas fabrics, a bit of coloured felt, sequins, a cricut but am struggling with ideas on how to use up the sour cherry lollipops.

I saw the bouquets, but the lollipop wrappers are Halloween themed and yellow/black, so not very pretty.

Any ideas on a Christmas theme?

    Thanks

By the way, I am currently making: fabric advent calendars, fabric tree decorations, fabric YULE christmas card hangers, lavender hearts, lavender bath sachets, flannel cupcakes (thanks to this thread), fabric stockings, aprons, shopping bags and herb oil, chilli vinegar and oils, chilli jam, have already made some lavender hearts, pickles, green tomato chutney and elderberry syrup.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

You could always make a reindeer shape from card and thread lollypop onto card to resemble Rudolphs nose, like the candy cane holders, as I assume they are red if sour cherry flavour. Or could you not make paper flowers to resemble poinsettas and slide lolly through middle, either rewrap lollies in clear wrap or try to turn them into bees (black and yellow!)

these look effective and could be an alternative to Rudolph's noses?
