    Hi!

I've been totally inspired by this thread!

I thought I'd share some shopping finds from today:-

These stickers from Poundland - I'm not usually into cutesy Christmas stuff but the reindeer and candy canes are adorable! And the stickers are round which will be perfect for sweet bags.

These stickers for an amazing 99p at The Works

Photo snowglobes at Poundland - I put a pic of one of my doggies in it and my SIL (who is 18 and mad for our dogs) will be having it for Christmas. It looks awesome IRL!

A metre of each of these ribbons at The Works for 99p. I've made a really simple card which I think looks pretty cute. I could make 5 of these from just one packet - more if I used less of the ribbon styles

Here are a couple of projects:

So excited to make more things tomorrow night! Thanks for all the inspiration :D

Yes they should be fine i tried punching 2 2" scalloped ones and putting them on a mint and in a pretzel bag and they were fine.

    Hi All

Had a very busy weekend, not crafting, though, was out all day Saturday at "Girls Day Out" and came home and went to bed around 8.30 as I was [STRIKE]drunk as a skunk[/STRIKE] very tired :o. On Sunday I went out in search of items for my baby cake as my cousin had her baby girl on Saturday night, I made it, took me a few hours and was very pleased with my first attempt :D. I also managed to get choc raisins, and various bon bons from poundland and 5 x boxes of CDM miniatures in B & M for £1.29 per box!!!???? No idea what I to do with them and also milk chocolate ES mints at 1.99 in B & M's I now have 6 boxes of them waiting in the cupboard for my SU punches so I can get started, fayre is 2 weeks .
Your makes are all fab, Giggles, I had a look at your blog, your stall was so professional looking, fantastic :T:T I cannot wait to get all my things done so I can upload all the pics, not uploading nappy cake pic as thats on a different thread x

Ordered mine too :j About 1 hour after ordering, got an e-mail to say they had been despatched. Excellent service, just hope royal mail don't let the process down!

  • Some amazing ideas as usual over here...:T

Really sorry I don't get on here enough! You've inspired me to get busy though and attempt a wee stall at the toddler group I attend with my sons. I guess I could always take orders?

Bit of a heads up on a baragins at Dunelm Mill-a small alphabet stamping set for 99p. They had loads of different fonts available and the complete box is probably a bit bigger than a matchbox. They didn't appear to be in a sale. Great for a cheap way of adding some type face to projects rather than a printer generated font.:D

I finally got my sewing machine back today as well. It gave up the ghost at the beginning of the year-I made one taggy blanket too many. Anyway finally got round to getting it fixed. It was my Grandmothers and I'm so chuffed it's back in good order again...

As soon as I have posted enough to be able to include photos I will try and illustrate how I've made the cake wrappers for my sock and facecloth cupcakes. I'm on a roll now... ;)
  • Oh my life ..... it takes me ages now to catch up with this thread now it moves so quickly!!!

To be honest I haven't had much time to post as I must have sent out at least 50 humbug and 50 snowman soup files out so far ....!!! But its so great that everyone is being so crafty xxxx

    Washing Up Kebabs!

    WashingUpKebab2_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800

This is an idea ...... not my own I got it from this Fairy Liquid ad (below)

    NoveltyWashingUpKebabs_thumb%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800

I used a bamboo kebab skewer on mine, but I think the metal skewer in the add looks better.

I went to Poundland and bought an assortment of washing up stuff, brillo pads, etc

Might be something that could sell at a Christmas Fayre ..... cleverer people than I could think of a really witty name for them

Would be an excellent present for Dads - for after Christmas Dinner!!!!!!!!!!
  • I made 8 Santa's and 4 Snowmen from 2 finger Kit-kats yesterday, which are destined for DD's buddies in school and creche. DH was MOST impressed when he came home. I used the basic idea in Flying Pigs first few pages, and adapted slightly. I have a few more to make (there's 26 in her class, and SHE'll be upset if we leave anyone out, and another bunch for the creche too), but now I know what I am at, they should go faster. (Although, cutting belt buckles from thick gold card by hand is tough!).

Thank you FP!! (And if I can figure out the digi camera, and how to post pics, I will).
