  • Hi everyone,

I have been enthralled with your thread for months now and confess to having used some of your ideas for Halloween.

I also made some lollipop spiders, half of which I sold but I have quite a few left and so I need to use them up somehow.

I have some Christmas fabrics, a bit of coloured felt, sequins, a cricut but am struggling with ideas on how to use up the sour cherry lollipops.

I saw the bouquets, but the lollipop wrappers are Halloween themed and yellow/black, so not very pretty.

Any ideas on a Christmas theme?

    Thanks

By the way, I am currently making: fabric advent calendars, fabric tree decorations, fabric YULE christmas card hangers, lavender hearts, lavender bath sachets, flannel cupcakes (thanks to this thread), fabric stockings, aprons, shopping bags and herb oil, chilli vinegar and oils, chilli jam, have already made some lavender hearts, pickles, green tomato chutney and elderberry syrup.

Wow, you are busy!! Don't forget to post some pictures for us :)

Those kebabs are fantastic, I must remember that for my Dads birthday bbq. He will laugh his socks off!!!

Love the idea of "After Dinner Hints" you could recover an After Eights box or similar and put them inside. Make a fancy label, I'm sure someone can come up with a witty poem.

angeladavies could you re-wrap the lollies in clear cellophane ie squares of card bags? If they are red then they would look Christmassy.

Just remembered they had After Eights in £land last week ;-)

I've made 12 of flourgirl's boxes today. Just need to fill them and wrap with cellophane.

I bought some christmas foam stickers from Baker Ross - 144 for £3.99 (Postage is a bit steep at £3.95 but I did a joint order with my sister) and think they make lovely embellisments :)

My goodness you have been busy, 12 boxes:eek: Dont forget the piccies when they are all finished. Well done, glad you found the template useful :T

Good morning. As it seems we can't put links to our blogs on here, we will have to put photos of the things we make on this thread itself.

Last night I made this notebook for putting all my Christmassy plans in - Schedule, Things to make ideas, Gifts to Buy, Gifts Bought, Food plans, etc. etc.

When I say, 'made', I mean re-covered. It was this football notebook before:

I just covered the front & back with green paper and added lettering and snowflake stickers & gems. I tied matching ribbons to the spine.
I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderful

qwiksave - I love your christmas book it's gorgeous!!

Can I ask how is everyone making the redineer antlers? when covering the chocolate bars, are you doing it free hand?

I am also looking for the template for the rudoplh noses? I'm struggling to find things! x
