Someone earlier (sorry, forget who) was asking for a step by step tutorial on covering a diary. I have just found these instructions on a blog that could help. ;)

Well I am so excited, the punches I ordered yesterday lunchtime arrived at lunchtime today - excellent service. Can't wait to try them out but I'm running a PFA event tonight so don't think I will have an opportunity until tomorrow grrrr

Wow that was good service! Where did you order them from?

Love the after dinner hints!! They are fab :)

Well I popped into town today and had a great time crafty shopping, bought a sack from poundland that Im hoping to turn into a sleeping bag for Jangles my christmas elf :) , its far too big at the moment so I'll try and make it to fit him, should be fun Ive only used my sewing machine twice lol :D

And thanks for that tutorial qwiksave it wasn't me who asked for it but I'll be trying it out :)

Oh my life ..... it takes me ages now to catch up with this thread now it moves so quickly!!!

To be honest I haven't had much time to post as I must have sent out at least 50 humbug and 50 snowman soup files out so far ....!!! But its so great that everyone is being so crafty xxxx

    Washing Up Kebabs!

    WashingUpKebab2_thumb%5B2%5D.jpg?imgmax=800

This is an idea ...... not my own I got it from this Fairy Liquid ad (below)

    NoveltyWashingUpKebabs_thumb%5B3%5D.jpg?imgmax=800

I used a bamboo kebab skewer on mine, but I think the metal skewer in the add looks better.

I went to Poundland and bought an assortment of washing up stuff, brillo pads, etc

Might be something that could sell at a Christmas Fayre ..... cleverer people than I could think of a really witty name for them

Would be an excellent present for Dads - for after Christmas Dinner!!!!!!!!!!

How about 'After Plates, the After Dinner Hint!':rotfl:

One year, I gave my best friend a big wicker basket with cleaning stuff in. Not just jif and all that but things like toilet gel which you shoot down the loo, nice smelling vacuum tabs, sparkly washing up gloves. Different stuff that she wouldn't normally use.

She is obsessed with housework and has a sterile house so did really love it. There was a pair of earrings in it somewhere. :D

Gosh, taken me ages to catch up............love the washing up kebabs..........think I just might have to do them for someone

Someone was asking about the antlers on the choccy covered reindeer I think ?
I did one lot of mine with some pipe cleaners left over from last year and stuck them on with dble.sided sticky tape.........last lot I drew the antlers freehand.........just strainght line and two bits slanting out near the top...........stuck those on with the same tape. For the ''lady'' ones I made shaped lips out of red felt and popped a little flower on one of the antlers.

    Some super ideas on here.............:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
