I can assure you 100% that none of our prices increased last time we did a similar deal.
As for the change in Mexx frames, I'm afraid I don't know about that, but I'll find out for you what's happened there and get back to you tomorrow morning.
That sounds quite promising. Does anybody know the best way for me to post a screenie on these forums? Sorry for being slow!

Many thanks for your reply, we await a resolution to our query (ref. Mexx frames).
Regards, Tom
Hi there,
I've checked what happened with those Mexx frames. They were in our 'Crazy deals of the Day' which changes regularly throughout the week. I've asked for the Mexx 5353 and Lindberg Maginus frames mentioned to be put back into crazy deals today.
There was no intention to deceive, and that range changes regularly so it will be worth checking back during the period that the voucher is active to see what new frames are available in the 'crazy deals' category. Currently there are other Lindberg and Benetton frames in that category all with £40 off, and the Mexx & Lindberg frames mentioned will be back in there very soon.
I hope that helps explain what happened.“Official Company Representative

Found them at £49
If you type in Mexx in the search box it brings up 21 styles, scroll towards the bottom and they are there at £49. If you go through the search on the left hand side of the screen they come up as £99.

Hi Little Star
The voucher will be sent out to you via email after the deal has closed so you should have received your voucher by now. You can also access your vouchers by signing in to your account and clicking on the “My Orders” tab.
I hope this helps“Official Company Representative

Having identified some (J Lindeberg Magnius) in the '2 for £49' deal in stock I went ahead and paid for the Groupon voucher. I then went back to the GD site, placed the two pairs in my basket, added my prescription and bookmarked the page ready to purchase on receipt of the voucher.
Tonight I note the glasses I chose are now out of stock.
As I have a limited budget and require larger sized specs, the original deal that I thought I was going to get represented great value but not now.
Is it possible to get a refund on the voucher (not received as of yet) if these particular specs are not going to be re-stocked?
Hello!
You can access your voucher by signing in to your Groupon account and clicking on the "My Orders" tab. Please note that as stated in the "Fine Print", Groupon offers are not valid with other offers.
Nonetheless if you require assistance with your purchase then please get in touch with our amazing customer service team at support@groupon.co.uk - but I am sure that Glasses Direct will be doing their best to restock in time.“Official Company Representative

Sorry about that, that's due to some parts of the site taking longer to update than others. The price you see on the product page (ie £49 not £89) is the price you'll pay.“Official Company Representative

Hi, I've got the voucher which shows a value of £52.95 and my order value was £52.95, but when I enter the code (which has been accepted ahead of time) it still shows £3.75 left to pay. What's the issue here?
Thanks!0 -

Yay. How wonderful. I've just placed my order for the Mexx glasses and it was completely painless. I ordered both available colours so I'm really excited.
Had to pay £3.95 postage on the order for some reason. I thought the voucher covered that but I guess not. Ho Hum. Still a great deal. Thanks to everybody and especially GD.

Nice to see they were accepting the vouchers ahead of the supposed start time.
What an absolute crock.0 -
Both of the styles I wanted were either sold out or price increased this morning. But vouchers are now live. Re the paying postage, I added a £5 scratch coating to one pair & the total came to £5.20 - so there is something odd with how it calculates the total. But I'm still happy with 2 pairs for £24.20!0
