Apologies, fell off the wagon as my daughter had a horrendous vomitting virus. Will post of the flylady thread as everything I've done is mainly FL related. Catch you next week. x

Ok so continuing along the lines of wedding anniversaries (it should be getting much easier now):

    7th Wool Monday
Any woolen garments to sort, jumpers, coats, hats, gloves, scarves - after the winter we have had if you have not worn them then you won't so get rid!
Knitting wools/fabric box - give them a sort, how about HH working on a project you have left for a while
Sort your sewing box and do that mending (Dusty this is you!)
Rugs/mats - any you don't use, what are you keeping them for

    8th Bronze Tuesday

Bronze to me is coins so today is anything money related
Bagging up coins to declutter to the banks (watch those change machines which take commission - most banks let you pay bags of change into kids accounts)
Any other financial bits you have been putting of - do you need your ISA papers for a transfer
Are all your receipts together for tax returns
Of course if you have some bronze figures to sort out then do that too!
Or take yourself into the garden and get some sunlight on your skin - great for your Vitamin D levels which are at their lowest this time of year.

    9th Pottery/china Wednesday

Sort out any china that you don't use, do you need it
Sort out that cupboard full of vases ready for all the spring flowers
Wander around your home and look at your ornaments do you like and want them all - less clutter easier flying
Have a cup of tea in your favourite mug - have your lunch off of your best plate.

    10th Tin/Aluminium Thursday

Do you have any recycling to do?
Tins - sort out your pantry and meal plan around what you have
Baking Tins - if you did not sort them last week
Tea lights have you got empty ones in holders - refil them, maybe use a scented one. Sort out your box of candles and holders.
Tins of buttons/odds and ends have a rummage

    11th Steel Friday
Cutlery drawer, do you need everything that is in there
Sharpen any knives that need doing.
Do any of your garden tools need sharpening (or rehoming) - spring is on it's way
If you are in charge of the toolbox give it a sort and make a list of anything that needs restocking - fuses/picture pins etc
Steal an hour to yourself - you all must do this and do something just for you; the idea of all this hardwork is to give us more time and space to be us.

    12th Silk Saturday
Undies drawer, the thermals will soon be off so back to the slinky stuff.
Silk scrafs/wraps etc give them a sort
Men can sort through the ties they never wear
Make your legs silky smooth for spring by decluttering those hairs
An easy day for most but it's the weekend

    11th Lace Sunday
Mothering Sunday today so hopefully tea and cakes with lace doilies :rotfl:

    1st Paper Monday
Anything to do with paperwork/photos/boxes of cards/books/magazines etc
Remember some paperwork needs to be kept for certain periods of times
    Shred confidential waste
Please recycle all other paper where possible.
    7th Wool Monday

Any woolen garments to sort, jumpers, coats, hats, gloves, scarves - after the winter we have had if you have not worn them then you won't so get rid!
Knitting wools/fabric box - give them a sort, how about HH working on a project you have left for a while
Sort your sewing box and do that mending

    2nd Cotton Tuesday
Clothes - anybody's for charity/rehoming or ebay but not creating piles!
If it has not been worn in a year is it ever likely to be?
Do you have summer/spring clothes stashed away which you could sort out?
Are some of your winter clothes really past their best?
Are there items not being worn because they are waiting to be mended/defuzzed? If so get that done this evening and start wearing them
Anything that needs drycleaning take to the cleaners.
Clothes which cannot be reworn can be bagged and labelled as rags and placed in the supermarket clothing banks or given to charity shops - they still get cash from the rag man.

    8th Bronze Tuesday

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Fell off the wagon after Tuesday - life just too hectic! Could never understand people who, after retiring, claimed they didn't know how they ever found the time to work - but suddenly it's true for me too! I think it's because I keep deciding to get involved with a whole series of small things that in themselves aren't too onerous or time-consuming, but they all add up and when several things need attention at the same time...you get the picture! Anyway, I intend to jump back in and do some more this week. After all, every little bit of decluttering must make some difference! Thanks so much for all the excellent suggestions Dustykitten!
