Right ladies - I need help. REAL help - this is an EMERGENCY....
Me and my two dogs are going to BBC TV centre on Tuesday - they have been asked to go and test drive a new dog toy for a new show on sky1....
I need to attempt to sort my skin out - I dont really cleanse or tone - but I do have greasy skin so I probably should start - yes?? Im assuming that I will have to go in makeup, and dont want the people to  when they try to make things stick to me? :rotfl:
so my remaining boots points are going to go on buying myself a proper skin care regime that I can start in the run up to the show - and carry on after. Ive got s&g facial scrub, and moisturiser,(though the moisturiser is a bit thick for my liking, might have to swap back with mum, even though i wasnt a huge fan of that olay i gave her either) but what does toner/clenser do? (am assuming cleanser does what it sounds like it does!) but should I really be using all these things?? In what order?? PLEASE HELP - someone teach me to clean my face !!!!!!!!! :rotfl:Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Right - you have greasy skin, so the first thing is - crazy as it sounds - you don't want to use anything too harsh on it as this will just encourage oil production. Be careful starting anything new between now and Tuesday - it may well encourage your skin to break out and, I'm sorry to say it, but you are not going to make a major different to the oiliness of your skin between now and then. Sorry! Honestly, the makeup artists will have seen FAR worse skin than yours many, many times before, so try not to worry about it and concentrate on enjoying the experience - it all sounds very exciting! :T
ps - my skin is combination - I have a greasy forehead and chin, with dry cheeks which is a pain. I cleanse using a wash-off cleanser as I find my skin only really feels clean with water. That means I don't use a separate toner as the water fills that role. I then use moisturiser. In the morning I use P&P serum as well. That's it. Don't be tricked by the manufacturers into thinking you need to invest in a host of different products - introduce things one at a time and see what you're happy with.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Right, confession time. I was getting panicky about only having half a tub of night cream left so thought I would treat myself to a body shop vit e night cream whilst the £5 code was still valid. However, I managed to add 2 half price day creams and 2 shower gels (bogof) to the basket. No idea how they got there, must have been the body shop fairies? In any case, it all added up to £10 (the cost of the single night cream) can I be forgiven? Please? I'm writing off Feburary!! Will try harder in March!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0

And there was me thinking I didn't have all that much.
I'm sure there was more, though, but I haven't made a detailed list as I've been going along.
Just goes to show what you can get in a few drawers (although I have liberated a lot of space on the way). Please call me 'Pickle'

Wow, Pickle, that's some stash!
I think I will try to relist my stash on Wednesday, depending when I get home.
I have a cunning plan though, I have 2 mini Trevor sorbie straightening minis, shampoo and conditioner. I also have straight hair and no straighteners. I'm going to my sisters on Sunday and she and her SDD both use straighteners, so I can use them there and then leave them for her to use up and rid!

Oh yes! I gave away one tube of body lotion (the grapesickle one) as I really couldn't bear the smell, and someone else could use it. It stops waste and means that someone else doesn't have to buy that product, so I look on it as a win/win situation. Please call me 'Pickle'
