Mercy, hope you get your head back in the lcing zone, you are usually so disciplined!!Has the phish food gone?? If so, don't buy any more!!
Think happy low-carb thoughts
I had more S&V peanuts & wine last night, but that's it until next weekend (I hope)
Menu for today:
B - 2 egg cheese & mushroom omelette
L - 2 low-carb crispbreads with butter & cheese, garlic sausage, soup

Have a lovely Sunday peeps, looks like the snow is finally beginning to thaw here :wave:0 -
I did really well yesterday, I did make LC pizza base, which actually came out OK and I could pick the pieces up. I had a little dark choc and red wine after and a few crisps but it was a very few.
This morning not so good, i had a muffin for breakfast, gonna get back on it proper though, yesterday made me realise how much better I feel when I eat LCThere is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0 -
It's snowing here now, it was forecast tho.
Tell me peeps, is it a crazy Welsh thing or does every scrap of bread get snatched up at the first mention of the 's' word where you live
Gotta say, i'm sick of bacon and eggs already.. and i've only had it twice
B - bacon, eggs and mushrooms
L - roast chicken dinner
D - probably butternut squash soup
Sweet, i've got some left over squash here so am roasting it to make the soup, i know you mentioned a stock cube, what else did you use, and what do you have with it ? cant be very filling on its own.
I'm not a soup kinda gal really, toast is more my thing!0 -
roasted squash soup is lovely, and take nigella's advice don't even bother peeling it, once it's roasted it will all blitz smooth. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0

About time you got it, we've had it for nearly 3 weeks!!

I've been shopping a couple of times for bits & bobs & I've noticed the shops have definitely been busier with peeps buying trolley loads of everything, not just bread!!

Piggies in blankets?? Really enjoyed mine yesterday - cumberland chipolata sausages wrapped in smoked 'Co-op's best' streaky bacon - yum yum!!

For my best tasting soup (imo) I used 6 level tsps of Marigold reduced salt vegetable Bouillon stock powder added to 1 & 1/2 litres of boiling water (or whatever your stock cubes say), 1 finely chopped leek & a few florets of cauliflower (I think adding the cauli thickens the soup up). Add this to the roasted squash & simmer for about 30mins & then blend together.
I have my soup (4 ladlefuls) with my usual Lunch, so I'm lovely & full afterwards, not sure just having the soup would fill me up enough for a main meal though??

I never knew you could do that, presumably the skin is full of fibre as well0 -
I've seen mention of low-carb crispbreads on this thread........can anyone recommend any for me? Many thanks! :j0

Evening folks -strange time for me to be posting but been out most of the afternoon and had a lovely long and very unusual lie in this morning.
Had some cold gammon for breakfast and green tea!
Lunch was a large bowl of my home made tomato soup with some chorizo chopped into it.
Evening meak... liver :j with stir fried assorted veg.
Really like the sound of the butternut squash soup but have got a whole load of the tomato soup left plus a huge load of carrot and ginger soup too.
Still no booze! :T:T Still fat though

No more snow and what there is is now mushy, apart from my street which could be used as a reserve for Dancing on Ice. Been across to Sunderland today and the main roads are fine, here's hoping the snow stays away as I have to get to Stanley tomorrow and it's really high in the hills

Available from Holland & Barrett £1.19 for pack of 10.

Go easy with them though as they are high fibre
I usually only have 2 a day at lunchtime, but I do occasionally have another 2 at suppertime (if I'm having a glass of wine)

Yooooo hoooooo....fat drunk person peeking in. Having last blow out before new routine tomorrow. Bottle of wine has been drunk, chicken curry has been eaten and I'm about to have a look in the junk cupboard.
< lots of them. :rotfl:
Watching a thing on tv about a bloke who lost 400 lbs and is still a virgin. He looks a whole lot better but he's covered in scars from where he got the excess skin cut off and he's got no confidence and is a virgin. Bless him......ach what the hell...I'd do him. :rotfl:
Will see you all tomorrow, complete with hangover.Herman - MP for all!0
