Ah, well I'm on a fasting day today, so nothing until 6pm! Except I'm drinking soya milk and green tea (and taking vitamins of course)... I've been moving furniture this morning (my arms are still sore from the other day!), and then boogying on down in England later, for my friend's 50th birthday party.
Doing a clothes-swap party this afternoon too - so much of my wardrobe is big and baggy now, I've gone through and removed 2/3rds of it  so hopefully someone else can enjoy (some of it's still tagged)...Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
sorry to hear about peopls off the wagon with bread at the very least make sure it is granary but why dont u get some lowcarb breadmix and make some of that for those times? or instant bread even
i know its hard but there will always be people who for one reason and another will derail u, as i always say at least i can control my food and not let these people BEAT me... yeah may sound a bit weird but it works for me lol.... when i was going thru my very messy divorce the times i felt like giving up after a day in court and stuffing i just thot no i wont let that !!!!!! ruin this for me as well (stubborn little critter me lol)
pancake recipe using almond, not tried it so cant vouch for it sorry
1 cup almond flour, 2 eggs

Good morning everyone :hello:
I'm glad I've already eaten my brekkie or I'd be reaching for the toaster, mmmmm toast & butter, yummy!! Hope you both enjoyed it!!
Menu for today
B - blues/rasps & cream
L - salad (need to make some more of that lovely coleslaw) probably have egg mayo today
D - Scotch Beef Burger with peppercorn melt (from co-op 4.0g carb per burger) will probably have it with leeks
I do wonder if I should lay off the fruit a bit, am running down my supplies & will start having an omelette for breakfast from Monday methinks.
Lovely day here, cold & sunny, might go for a walk later. Heavy snow forecast for tomorrow night/Monday morning!!:eek:0 -
Pretty dull and horrible where I am this morning. Just had my usual cheese omelette so face is happy for the moment, lol.
Have to go out today as it's son's birthday tomorrow and I've not even bought a card yet.
I promise (whilst making Benny Hill stylee salute) that I will walk straight past MacDonalds, Burger King and KFC.
Have a good day peeps.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Morning, all
Yesterday for me:
B: none
L: sausages and mushroomschicken pesto; leeks
S: granary toast with butter binge
The chicken pesto was gorgeous! I laid a breast of chicken on a bed of spinach leaves, and topped it with a mixture of pesto, cream cheese, cream and Parmesan, with a couple of cherry tomatoes flung in too. Slices of mozzarella on top and baked it for about 40 minutes. I think it was nicer that the M&S version because I was more generous with the pesto paste and mozzarella.
I don't anticipate losing any weight this week, since I've fallen off the wagon so many times that I'm covered in bruises.0 -
Oooh HC that sounds lovely, will try. It's food shop day today so will compile list for forthcoming hunting expedition. To be honest, I ate the toast (wholemeal with butter and cream cheese- as if that would negate the carbs!) cos had nothing "good" in, so I fell foul of the "must be organised with food" rule! LOL it's like coming to flipping confessional on here :rotfl: "Forgive me low-carbers, for I have sinned"........
Sweet- how do you make your coleslaw? Will try as need a tasty addition to salad.
menu from yesterday;
B- porridge with flaked almonds, flaxseed
L- cheese sandwiches made from oopsies. apple
D- 4 toast!! (a dirty word on here, even looks strange!) can of lager.
snack- banana, 2 tangerines0 -
There must have been something in the air last night. Did anyone else fall off the wagon with toast?0
