I've just checked my receipt closely!
Looked at my beef and they charged me £1.25 per pack!!!!
This surely is wrong? It said 66p on the label in store
Can I go back now? 14:08 I paid for it0 -
And can someone point me in direction of the policy of refund and keep the product?
Thanks0 -

Are you sure you have the correct weight? 114g is 66p, but the next size up is £1.25.
And the thread about overpriced items is here, http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=77950&page=1&pp=40
although if you do have the incorrect size, you'll only be able to claim a refund as the store haven't overcharged you.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

oooh...is this tesco new way of dealing with the bargain? Putting the price up?
Or it could just be your stores error, but would be really interesting to know if this is a national thing?!
Either way, you're entitled to a refund and replaced as they've overcharged you compared to the shelf price...however, does your freezer have room to keep the product too?;)
let us know how you get on as this could have an impact on everyone who is buying the beef.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Just returned from a camping trip in Cornwall where I daily frequented three different Tescos!!! I used the frozen beef to keep my beers cold and fed to the dog when they defrosted! Much cheaper than paying the 'rental' charge on the campsites coolbox blue thingys!!
Oh and on another positive note - Cornwall Tescos accept coupons like they are going out of fashion! Yipee.0 -

hehe Fortunately Tesco is literally 1 minute away from me.
I'm not sure how they price (nationally or individually) but I went in, with receipt & one box and went to the beef section before going to CS.
Sure enough, 66p. So I went to CS, who then checked themselves. After much deliberation, it was found they had priced the bigger box at 66p and the smaller at £1.25. Strange as it was right 2 days ago
Anyway, they offered to refund the difference, but I mentioned the policy when a manager was next to me and the CS girl looked at the manager and she said refund me and I get to keep the beef. Not sure if that was all I was entitled too, but I accepted it anyway0 -
Brilliant Day at the 7 Tescos I went to this afternoon (both Lincoln ones out of stock
) But in the remaining 5 I went I managed to get hold of 78 packs. Now thats an extra 3939 points onto the card  yipee!
On a roll now, only another 150 packs to go :j

You obviously didnt use the Tesco in Launceston then, either that or you picked the right checkout operator. We were there a month ago and they would only take 10%. :mad:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Phew...just your store! But just think how many people would have bought this beef and not checked the receipt? That's nearly a 100% increase in price:eek:
Did they take your extra points back when you got the refund?
Refund and keep the product is what I would have expected too.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
