We'v been having pc and internet problems over the last few weeks and i thought it was our pc or connection playing up again so glad it isnt , iv also had to use google instead of my bookmarks to get in.0

I've not been able to get on here since around 6pm last night. I always get the page cannot be displayed message.
I tried at work today and had no problem. Came home and could not get on again - same as yesterday. I then tried changing the proxy server - I'm with Virgin Media. Now I can get in. No speed issues.
Something very odd is going on.0 -
I've been kicked out most of the day. The only way I got in this time was to google the sample bank letter and come in through that.

Its pretty much unusable for me, has taken me about 15 minutes just to get the main page to load, then to this thread. This site has run on bits of twisted elastic ever since it started.
When the changes were made earlier this year, I made the comment that I couldn't care less about the formatting, but the response rate needed to be improved.
In fact, it seems to have deteriorated.
What is very disappointing is that there is no message of explanation on the front page and no one has replied to this thread to explain what is happening.
If it is because the usage has (again) outstripped the capacity, I would suggest some fund-raising to buy more.0 -

I have noticed that it is easier to go to the top of the page and click on 'Forums' again than it is to hit the back button on the browser, which for some reason does not seem to work well when in the MSE pages recently.
I am putting up with things at the moment but I am certainly not visiting as much these last few days, it is too much like hard work. I could see how new users might be put off.0 -
