Doesn't sound too drawn out, she posted on Saturday after 4pm with a 'few twinges' and he was out by 9.30am. Phew.

Hi Guys
I woke up at 4.15am with few pains, Waters broke- luckily into the loo at 4.40am. Got to hospital for 5.40am and was about 5 cm dilated. Got in pool at 8am ish but had to get out by about 8.45am as they couldn't get his heartrate. Good job too as it kept dropping. He had meconium in me and came out face rather than head first. MW was a bit freaked and wouldn't let me push as she was not sure what was happening, only when senior MW said it was ok and just a face was I allowed to push him out. Very hard to go with what they were asking as I was so scared he was not ok. Luckily I did not tear so I am not feeling too bad apart from a little tired and tender. Definitely my last baby, I couldn't go through it again.
