Morning everyone! You're going to have to put me on ignore, now mat leave has started I won't stop gabbling ...!

Very odd ... got up at usual time and persuaded OH to haul the chest freezer out for me to defrost, helped him make his lunch (poor lad seems to struggle without help when it comes to making sandwiches!) and he's off to work. Now I'm home - alone - all day. What's that all about?!

I think I need to be rejoining the OS board in an attempt to kick-start some nesting instinct. Meanwhile I'm getting what must be Braxton Hicks' contractions and have been for a few days - I can't feel it happen but if I touch my tummy it's sometimes gone completely solid, which is a surreal experience given that my tummy's always been particularly ... er ... flabby!

So, today I will be cleaning the kitchen, taking delivery of Tesco order, cleaning out the freezer, walking the dogs and possibly making a batch of chocolate brownies .

I hope, Jen, that you are now relaxing having produced a big healthy bouncing baby. And I hope everyone else has a nice, not too nauseous, comfortable-pelvis sort of day too!

Hubby really treasures that time with Imogen. He told her all about the family, the rules about boys and promised she could have a puppy when she's at school!

due to the horny fairy coming to stay and us getting a little carried away this week im pretty sure im about to get thrush (lovely) am i allowed to use canesten while pregnant?
i used to get it thanks to my bad choices in underwear and just used to use the cream, can i still do that?

Jen - Hope you've now finished waiting and you have a gorgeous baby to show for your effort, can't wait to see photos.

Eels - I think my nesting instinct kicked in last night - We went to Costco in the morning (last visit before the baby is born as it is over the bridge in England and DH won't let me leave Wales again now - just in case I go into labour whilst over there - he's told me if I do, I've got to keep my legs crossed until I get to the toll bridge), MIL & FIL for lunch and then home, was absolutely shattered, but still managed to do a couple of loads of washing, including the baby clothes that will be going into hospital with us (they are so small and looked so cute on the washing line), sorted out the washing ready for ironing, I sorted out the freezers so we've got room to batch cook and freeze over the next couple of weeks, I cleaned the kitchen and swept all the floors, although I was too tired to cleaning them aswell, so will have to do that tonight. I can see me spending rather alot of time on the OS board when I go off on ML, only 9 days to go (not that I'm counting).
