Do you know, I dont know  just feel down in the dumps, its lasted a few days now.

I went to the gym this morning, blasted away, as per normal, just seem to be struggling off late. It was very war this morning, I would have worn the wet t-shirt competition hands down today :p still knocking off 700-800 cals a session. started some weight training now to try and get shot of my manboobs, bingo flaps etc :o

Big well done to Erlqueen, TallGirl , CAE, victory and petrichor on you losses which is excellent progress. Im hoping for 1 or 2lbs even to maintian would be nice. I forgot there was another birthday at the weekend Mrs Suggs' son (15) who wanted an indian  btw what is the best indian to have, I guess its tomato based sauces I like the buhna and piazia best

retiredlady, dont worry, join the day one club :)

    Hi All You Lovely Peeps:D

Oh beanie not-tagged-smiley-14571.gif If your friend thought that you wouldn't look nice she wouldn't have chosen you to be a bridesmaid in the first place, it's because of the chest infection together with the pre-menopause stuff which is making you feel so low and magnifying everything out of proportion. I hope you'll be feeling better in the morning...

...Suggs a3jadjd.gifHope you soon get back to your perky self, you work so hard...

...Well done Erlqueen, krayzechick, efrieze and beard on those losses :j :j :j ...

    ...Marion....more of this I think i4afwcc.gif ...

...mistywoo Regarding when to reduce calorie intake, I just do it when the losses slow down so you must be honest with yourself that you are counting all the calories that you have eaten including the ones eaten in private ;) because they all count unfortunately (for the benefit of the members of the Secret Eaters' Club:rotfl: )...

...poohbear Did you make your own spelt bread? I made some a few months back and wasn't sure if I liked it or not  I still have some of the flour left so I'll give it another try when the weather cools down. Lentils are quite high in calories but they are very nutritious and filling. I bought some brown ones at the weekend, I've never tried them before so hopefully I'll be giving them a go soon...

I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
  • I lost 1 stone in the past week :D
Only 85lbs to Go  but should lose that in 6weeks...

Can I ask how you did this as I would be happy to lose even 2lb a week?

Really want to make the june challenge can anyone tell me when it finishes?

Hi petrichor, I tried making spelt bread using yeast and it turned out inedible but with bicarb it wasn't too bad. I used the recipe on the back of the packet. I do have a little treat sometimes of bought spelt bread which is made with a sour dough recipe. I haven't managed to make a spelt sour dough yet. I also didn't think about lentils being high cal yesterday. All the family ate the soup first so I had a very frugal amount in the end but it was very tasty.

Suggs : I know how you feel about being down in the dumps. I think it's either one of two things.... (a) the weather - can't do anything about that (sorry!) or (b) it's a natural low.. as in, you've just reached a massive target you've been trying to reach for a year now, it's normal after feeling such elation from acheiving such a fantastic target. Maybe you need to re-focus yourself again and take motivation from how far you've come. My friend declan has a slide show on his page on bebo that shows his before and after photos. He was around 22 stone and is now down to just over 16. Perhaps you could do something like that?

And as for wet t-shirt competitions.... I'd beat you hand's down this week (Was getting really weird looks from the gym mafia :rotfl: similar people to the school gate ones)... I think they're just jealous that I have enough boobs to jiggle when I'm cycling really fast :j:rotfl:

Well done this week everyone who's lost weight!:j There's so many of you I'm bound to forget someone...

Beanielou I'm sorry to hear about your chest infection.. I think I'll give you an indulgence to eat chocolate for as long as you're on the antibiotic.... As for being naffed off about the photographs, I reckon it's because they were taken by a really bad photographer (really hope that it wasn't your OH:o lol) I hope you feel better soon.

Petrichor. I love your smilies.... especially the doggie one. That looks like me and my fluffy ginger pigdog out for a walk, except I'm not yellow. more puce!:o:rotfl::rotfl:

juststarting The June challenge finishes on the last wednesday of June (am I right Lois?) Which makes it next wednesday . I don't think I'll make the June target either. I get the feeling from you're previous posts you're not finding it easy to stick to your diet/healthy eating programme/ calorie count? What plan are you doing? and why do you think you're not doing so good?
