2 newbie questions, which I think I know the answer to but thought I'd ask:
- if I want to return a demo product, does it have to be unopened?
- do I have to return the free gift it came with?
I bought accidentally bought 2 concealors for myself and the demo one is more expensive so I'm inclined to send that one back. However, if I can return it opened then I'd like to compare the 2 and then decide!
Yes you'd have to return the free gift, technically anyway, sometimes we can get away without returning free gifts, but thats more from the brochure. However, you could always argue you'd used up all the products demo-ing them I suppose which is why you couldn't return them
And we can return opened demo products - I've returned things in the past which I wasn't happy with (most recently the mens trimmer thing - its crap!) and its been fine.
Had a great time at Gardeners world live today - spent all my birthday money (and some more lol) on lots of lovely plants, seeds, and a bug box lolAvon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Well after saying I wouldn't do a money maker, I've ordered 10 of the lotus shield. Mostly so I get the free hair pack lol, but I was going to offer it at £4 anyway so at least this way I'll still be making 25% rather than just 25p. Just got to get my customers to buy them now!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Has anyone actually used the Lotus Shield yet? I did today (before looking at what I should be doing, of course..... doh!) and am not convinced. Normally I straighten my hair to take the frizz out and think I'm still going to have to do that even after using LS.
Have actually now watched the training videos so maybe I shouldn't be too quick to judge until I do as they say!
Oh, incidentally, I've been telling my customers about this great new anti-frizz product that lasts through 2 washes...... but..... according to the training videos they say 3 days! I only wash my hair every 5 or 6 days (sometimes push it to a week) so a bit of a difference in what they're now saying and what I was expecting.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Errrrr I have just watched the Lotus Shield training video - did anyone else recognise Jasleyne as the winner of America's Next Top Model a couple of series ago, and therefore wonder why the hell they had dubbed her voice with a British one?
However I must say I CANNOT WAIT TO TRY LOTUS SHIELD! I really have got hair like Monica from Friends in the Barbados episode, and am really hoping that my holiday to Turkey in July is my first ever frizz free one! Time will tell!0 -
Just realised my last post makes me sound like I watch far too much TV - I probably did pre child and pre Avon!0

Yay, so looks like we are the South West Posse :j Do you find Avon sells well down south, and what sort of person tends to buy it (meaning is it more popular with the old/middleaged/young/home owner/council tennant/flats/bungalows....you get the idea) in other words, is there a best type of area to try and sell to?Everyone loves a bargain :beer:0 -
Well ive asked my ASM for more street, she is going to look at two quite big streets (but still hasnt confirmed this to me!!). So far ive got £101 worth of orders and got 10 books still out until saturday morning, then ill put them back out to collect again on monday, so hopefully might have a couple more orders. So dont think im doing too bad!! Think im going to order the 10 lotus shields but think im being very optimistic with that!
I know this has probably been asked before but if my order comes to say £140 and the HOV is £148, does the cost of my brochures and anything else i buy count towards to £148 to get the higher discount?
Thank you

Well i have the full range of properites in my territory! I got some very large, very nice houses, you know the ones we can only dream off! I have one customer there, then another street is a very mixed road of bungalows, some old, some young. I have 6 customers there, half 60-70 and other half 30-45. Then my estate is mostly under 40's and that is 6 customers. I have my regulars that will order every campaign and i offer a free gift with every order over £20 and 3 of them always order this to get their free shower gel!C7 - 221.05 :j C8 - 308.07 :j C9 - 250.84 :j C10 - £525.25 :j:j C11 - £467.91 :j C12 - 491.44 :j C13 - £442.09 :j C14 - £357.95 :j0
